While it's obvious basesquatch is the ultimate Bronco, the title of this thread is misleading. The graphics refer to Dana's line of "Ultimate Dana 44/60" axles, not that this is the ultimate Bronco. I hope those 40's got some Ultimate SteeringUltimate Bronco is a Base!? I think..
Straight from Ford's mouth....
I'm good with that! LOL!!!
I'd argue, at this level it's probably best to start with a baseBase ... why pay 7.5k for parts you're going to replace? While it's obvious basesquatch is the ultimate Bronco, the title of this thread is misleading. I'm confused. Why would I replace parts if I already have the ultimate Bronco?I'd argue, at this level it's probably best to start with a baseBase ... why pay 7.5k for parts you're going to replace?
Too bad they match up as bad as my 69! look at the misalignment under the right side mirror.
and aim the light barAt least level the stupid thing.
Like it, agree with the door surplus tho. Like the rear spare delete was considering something similar for day to day and add spare for trail? Cool build/findLooks like a Smurf on stilts.
Some cool mods, just a lot going on here.
First it was the Sport isn't a Bronco, now a 4 door can't be a Bronco? What the what!
But wait, it has a soft top and two too many doors !The throwback-racing-inspired "Ultimate Ford Bronco Build" prototype was running continuous laps around the streets of Dearborn yesterday, bringing some eye-catching outrageousness to the otherwise mundane traffic.
This Ultimate Bronco is an homage to Ford’s early 90’s Rough Rider’s Off Road Racing Team, and is loaded with aftermarket parts including "Ultimate Dana 60 semi-float rear axle, upgraded Dana rear driveshaft, Ultimate Dana 44 Front Drive Unit (FDU), upgraded Spicer Extreme heavy duty high angle front half shafts and a slew of off road upgraded components.”
Some of the modifications are necessary to accommodate the massive 40-inch Milestar Patagonia mud terrain tires and retro Trailgear bead lock wheels, which are teamed up with Advance Fiberglass Concepts high line fender flares. The Expedition Vehicle Outfitters suspension system utilizes front upper- and rear control arms, and the King Adjustable Coilovers are clearly still in effect.
Just why this Bronco beast was running around on Ford’s normal development roads is unknown. The Ultimate Build Bronco was seen running a real-world road pattern throughout the day, wearing its manufacturers’ license plates, among the other Ford test cars running to-and-from Ford’s usual test labs.
Must have been drunk when they put this together. A 5 year old could even put 2 lines togetherToo bad they match up as bad as my 69! look at the misalignment under the right side mirror.
That's terrible. They should have spend a little of their cash at a better body shop.
