Here is the look of poking with 285/70/17 and 35+ on the Non-Sas flare. I wanted the edge of tread to be under the edge of the flare.i thought 0mm wheel wont be perfect, guess im wrong. what is the best range to have offset? should i look for the +35mm ? any good wheel recommendation ?
Thank you so much for the reply!!!
i will try the Discount Tire, cause i did lot of reseach too seeing you guys post everyday, finally decide to put on big tire, but yesterday the Costco tire guys really made me sad.
and i did buy Method Race wheel 305NV 16x8 6X5.5 0MM OFFSET.( I ASK CHATGPT ABOUT IT) SAID THATS THE PERFECT WHEEL FOR BASEBRONCO.)
They’re actually doing their jobs even though the reason for not installing isn’t correct. If going by BFG minimum specifications, the stock wheels are too narrow for these tires to be installed. This is why you avoid cheap tire places that arent specialists.
Safety FIRST ! Cheaper @ places like this because often the tire(s) they feature are. perhaps(?), "built to hit a store's 'price-point'" ...maybe?Heyy all i need help, i just pick up my 285/75r16 bf goodrich ko2 tire yesterday from Costco, heard they have good tire services, but they wont installed the tire for me, said that tire is not for bronco is Load E, i should have Load C.
they said i need do reprogram with the computer from the dealer store. and tire will be overheat and exploed or something, and made me very sad.
please does 285/75r16 really fit on base bronco ? i have baby coming soon i dont really want have any safty issue about that, please someone give me a adivice.
At this time, we do not have any retail stores in the MA area, but I will say we are always looking to open stores in new markets, so keep your eyes peeled! In the mean time, we can still get you taken care of via Discount Tire Direct. We can ship directly to you. Sending a DM your wayso sad MA dont have one. or there is ?
some, like sam's club, won't install tires unless its oem size / type. I think its a liability thing. "explode"... kinda funny.Heyy all i need help, i just pick up my 285/75r16 bf goodrich ko2 tire yesterday from Costco, heard they have good tire services, but they wont installed the tire for me, said that tire is not for bronco is Load E, i should have Load C.

We would like to hear more about your concerns. Sending a DM your way.The only bad thing about Discount Tire is they are not discount at all.
I had that exact same tire installed on my Bronco. The only difference is I put them on after-market wheels that are 7.5" wide. However, a 265 should be fine on a 7-8" wheel. One thing I would recommend, however, is definitely going with load C. E load tires can work, but they are much stiffer, as they are designed to carry much more weight. Even reducing the air pressure in your tires, you will still have a stiffer, bumpier ride.Heyy all i need help, i just pick up my 285/75r16 bf goodrich ko2 tire yesterday from Costco, heard they have good tire services, but they wont installed the tire for me, said that tire is not for bronco is Load E, i should have Load C.

Correct. Your stock wheels are too narrow for the tires that you bought. Lots of people run that combo but a tire store is correct to not install it due to liability. The tread of your tire will be bulged out and the center of the tire will wear faster than the edges, plus your contact patch to the road will be slightly decreased. Again, it's totally doable but not correct. They’re actually doing their jobs even though the reason for not installing isn’t correct.
