If you have a 2021 Badlands reservation, Ford will cover the upgrade to the HD.

Both: Steel.

Capable bumper: Fog lights. D-rings.

HD bumper: Shackle mounts. Can mount winch. Can remove end caps. Can mount bull bars, lights, etc.
Are you sure about this "no charge" to go from the capable to the modular bumper?

On 4 door I think... 2 door you can throw the book at it
I wanna know what changes they made to allow roof rack on 2.7L Squatched 4 doors 🤷🏻
You can only get the roof rack on the 4 door, Squatched 2.3 or non-Squatched 2.7 (not allowed on the Squatched 2.7)...

Pretty sure that's changed for 22....
You could always get the Rood rack with the 2.3L 4 door Squatched

Yes, I am a blonde and totally confused. I am looking at the price list and there are 2 HD Modular bumper upgrades:
55G
Front Bumper – Ford Performance Heavy-Duty Modular
Front Bumper – Heavy-Duty Modular (ilo Steel)

Anyone have a pic of the ilo Steel one or the difference?
ilo means in lieu of - in this case it’s ilo of the Capable Steel bumper. So, if you upgrade the capable your cost is $575. The other price is to upgrade the standard bumper.

Glad they came out with the capable. The fog light addition is perfect. And ROUND, like they should be. And if you notice the end caps are still removable. It’s just the rear caps of this design on the bumper rather than the ends. So you still have the ability to gain a little space.

I don't see a selection for a roof rack in the materials released . . . only "roof rails", is that what they meant? Maybe we get the roof rails and then an aftermarket rack that attaches to the rails?

If aftermarket bumpers weren't a thing I'd definitely go with the modular bumper.

But my plan right now is to get the capable bumper purely for the fog light wiring & cabin switch... and then swapping it out for an aftermarket bumper somewhere down the line. Right now the leader is the Warn bumper, but I do intend on sticking with the stock capable bumper for awhile, so I'll have time to decide.
My sentiments exactly. I prefer the look of the capable anyway.
