Tie Rod and Steering Upgrade Recommendations?

I am doing no more than the broncbuster clamps is doing to the rack, how will this effect the steering rack is a more focused question?

It essentially makes the rack the weak point. Think of the stock tie rods as a fuse. You want the fuse to be the weak point. Carry extra.

I guess I am going to upgrade and see what happens. All of the fails I have seen are with 35" and above tires with lockers and difficult trails.
