Nice looking product...the performance/functionality will depend on the type of driving being done.

Quick question: Are this shipping from a U.S. distribution point or over seas?

Ah I see thanks for the clarification. Really looks like a great product and I'd love to install them as I have a base/w sas and the plastic bumper but not sure if I am going to buy it until it's confirmed that it fits.
We'll make sure to update here and online at asfir.com for any relevant updates. Stay tuned ;)

LOL :)

ASFIR is a Hebrew portmanteau (combination of words) of two Hebrw names - Asaf and Ofir.
No disrespect and I understand the word combination now that it's been explained but here it sort of implies a sheepskin thong to most people when seeing it at a glance if that makes sense.

No! We like all them models ;)

@Little Foot & @BigBendBW I replied to @Dirtyjed who made a similar comment -
When we release a product we want to be able to guarantee a 100%. We only do it after we know it's been installed successfully.

As we haven't test-fitted it for the Base or Big-Bend models yet (just because they are not available in Israel) we can't promise it'll fit.

Odds are it will, bc as far as we know, the Big-Bend is based on the Base model that is based on the Outer-Banks model.
But again, as we haven't installed it on either of these models we can't guarantee a 100% fit.

Hope that makes sense.

I'm interested ... but I really hope you develop protection for the trailing arms too, being the lowest parts of the vehicle .... any plans for that?
YES! Great question :)

We do have plans for that too, hopefully in the coming few weeks. Once we have it up and going we'll update here, on Instagram / FB and online at asfir.com

Ugh, yeah... we know it may sound like it. But now we have you to explain people that it's NOT. right?! ;)😅

Perfect coverage. I've been hoping for a skid for transmission, since the pan is plastic and transfer case coverage looks just right.

I would prefer the engine/diff to be standalone from the front, but Ok.

I see a void near the oil drain plug. Can oil be drained without removing the plate?

And, why do all plates (factory and aftermarket I've seen) have a void at front diff? The lowest important component is unprotected.

Also, website has:
Front Bronco Tow Ring | Right Rear

So is it front or right rear? And the photos show two different rings. The uninstalled is squarish and flat, the installed is roundish and downturned, which is it? Installed is right rear so that may answer first question.

There is an access hole (2, actually) on the Israeli plate, I wonder if that is the location for oil draining?

SmartSelect_20220112-133945_Chrome.jpg
i doubt it .... 1. those cutouts dont seem big enough to get your hand in there and 2. the way the oil gushes out of the pan, it will be a huge mess

It might, and the odds are it will. But the way we work is that we only state a fit after we have test-fitted it and we haven't test-fitted it for the Base model yet.

As far as I know, the Base model is based on the Outer-Banks model. But because we haven't installed it on a Base model we can't guarantee a 100% fit.

Hope that makes sense.

Makes sense. Send me a set and I'll let you know. 😁
