Can your transmission skid be used with the factory skid plates?

Rusty's Offroad provides an access panel just for the oil plugs on the Wranglers .... unfortunately non of their competition have added that feature to their panels.I think most people assume you remove the plate to change the oil?
We'll make sure to update here and online at asfir.com for any relevant updates. Stay tunedAh I see thanks for the clarification. Really looks like a great product and I'd love to install them as I have a base/w sas and the plastic bumper but not sure if I am going to buy it until it's confirmed that it fits.
No disrespect and I understand the word combination now that it's been explained but here it sort of implies a sheepskin thong to most people when seeing it at a glance if that makes sense.LOL
ASFIR is a Hebrew portmanteau (combination of words) of two Hebrw names - Asaf and Ofir.
This @KillerPenzNo! We like all them models
@Little Foot & @BigBendBW I replied to @Dirtyjed who made a similar comment -
When we release a product we want to be able to guarantee a 100%. We only do it after we know it's been installed successfully.
As we haven't test-fitted it for the Base or Big-Bend models yet (just because they are not available in Israel) we can't promise it'll fit.
Odds are it will, bc as far as we know, the Big-Bend is based on the Base model that is based on the Outer-Banks model.
But again, as we haven't installed it on either of these models we can't guarantee a 100% fit.
Hope that makes sense.

YES! Great questionI'm interested ... but I really hope you develop protection for the trailing arms too, being the lowest parts of the vehicle .... any plans for that?
Ugh, yeah... we know it may sound like it. But now we have you to explain people that it's NOT. right?!No disrespect and I understand the word combination now that it's been explained but here it sort of implies a sheepskin thong to most people when seeing it at a glance if that makes sense.
Perfect coverage. I've been hoping for a skid for transmission, since the pan is plastic and transfer case coverage looks just right.Asfir 4x4 is an Israeli based manufacturer of 4x4 accessories. There is an access hole (2, actually) on the Israeli plate, I wonder if that is the location for oil draining?Rusty's Offroad provides an access panel just for the oil plugs on the Wranglers .... unfortunately non of their competition have added that feature to their panels.

i doubt it .... 1. those cutouts dont seem big enough to get your hand in there and 2. the way the oil gushes out of the pan, it will be a huge messThere is an access hole (2, actually) on the Israeli plate, I wonder if that is the location for oil draining?
We'll do our bestOh wow, nice, glad you are still in the business ( really liked you Toyota products )
Nice setup and not too pricy, that is good. Hope to see the Badlands stuff soon.
Makes sense. Send me a set and I'll let you know.It might, and the odds are it will. But the way we work is that we only state a fit after we have test-fitted it and we haven't test-fitted it for the Base model yet.
As far as I know, the Base model is based on the Outer-Banks model. But because we haven't installed it on a Base model we can't guarantee a 100% fit.
Hope that makes sense.
