I did my first oil change at about 2,800 miles, then second after about 8,000 miles. The recommendation from Blackstone Labs was to go 8,000 for the next change, then see what the TBN looks like and possibly go 10,000 miles. As for tire rotations, I go 4-5,000 miles between and do a five tire rotation.

After this thread, I actually added a column for tire rotation interval. I also have this for my Mustang and my wife's Mercedes. The Mustang has like 35 lines of maintenance/upgrades/dealer recalls and service.

Nope! It's very well reviewed and tested. Unfortunately, it's also tougher to obtain than most of the other oils listed in this thread.

First oil change was at 6k +/- I use Mobil 1. All street vehicles I've always used Mobil 1 In my bikes i use Redline.

I did the tire rotation at about 5k, with a 5 wheel rotation pattern,

Liqui-Moly with Molygen
Amsoil

Those are the 3 oils I typically use depending on application. I'm planning on the Liqui Moly in the Bronco.

A $55k truck with a high technology twin-turbo V6 that's prone to cam phaser issues. An oil change costs less than $100.

A 33k truck with a rattle box v6 with tiny snails. It’s just a lower mid end vehicle. Nothing special about it.

It’s not prone to cam issues. You either got a good one or bad one.

Ditto! It’s not high-tech at all. Any good quality oil and timely oil changes should keep it healthy for years/miles.
