Lol ahhh well you see it was a 2016 Toyota Camry I paid 16k for (40k miles) and drove for 2 years to have carmax (who I originally purchased the used Camry from) give me 19k for.

Porsche 911 Turbo S. Wow, I loved that car. Then during the summer of 2022 a container ship loaded with VW, Porsche, Audi and Lamborghini cars (all mfg's owned by the VW Group) headed to the USA caught fire and went to the bottom. Vehicle prices were already through the roof but now dealers for these makes were hurting a bit more. Dealers started contacting asking if I wanted to sell. In the end, after driving it for 5 summers the Porsche dealer I purchased it from paid me 12% less than I paid them for the same car.

Yes, I loved that car. Performance was unreal but with back problems from endurance off road motorcycle racing it was a pain to get in and out of, literally. Add in that the last 1.5 miles to my home is a dirt road that gets really sloppy when wet its use was limited.

The Bronco is a great ride and waaaay easier to get in and out of and a hoot on trails and in the snow.

I bought a 2021 ZR2 Bison in December 2020 after giving up on the Bronco out of frustration with the entire experience - then a few months later my dealer called me and asked if I wanted to convert my reservation to an order.. I ended up selling the Bison in Sept 2022, once I knew my Bronco was finally on its way to my dealer. I also sold my '71 Dodge Dart that I'd had for 18 years, and spent 11 years restoring it myself. The sale of the Dart helped me with a nice fat down payment on the Bronco too.
