On hot days mine gives an alert that ASS has been disabled due to outside temperature. The A/C doesn't shut off. I'm in Phoenix.

Also if I'm in a stop/start situation, I just turn off ASS. I sometimes turn it off when in a parking lot. I leave it on for "normal" traffic.

I had originally planned to use Forscan to turn off ASS. I've changed my mind.
That is what I thought as well, plenty of things it needs to see before it will activate. No high temps in Seattle to worry about.

I'm also in Phoenix (well Mesa). I've never got a disabled due to temp message. Just turns the engine off, then I reach over and hit the button.

FWIW, there is no ASS in Sport mode. But you still have to respond with OK button when you first start up to stay in sport mode.

I wonder why ours are different? I have a Badlands wiith the high package. Maybe that's why mine doesn't shut off. Does yours have an outside temperature sensor? Mine does.

My solution, just on a much smaller scale.

They all have outside temp sensors. It's far more obnoxious on the Wife's F-150 since the F-150 is an automatic and the Bronco is a stick so the implementation is a bit different.

I was looking for a hook to hang garments on road trips. Everything I found for the cargo area was mounted too low. The design of these handles allows a garment bag to hang without being folded up at the bottom. The flash makes the grips look grey in pics, but they are black.

Adding sport mode, ditching the double honk, redline hood lift supports, ford mudflaps before the first rock rash, rockworkx hard top tool less hold downs, self made rope shackles attached to the ring on the back of the rear seats for pulling the seats back to normal. And after a trip to Moab, lower shock skids, highly recommend. These all enhance the enjoyment! Have a great day!

Great. Will probably buy today. I just can't stand ASS. Wait that sounds bad...

I do think panel removal is required though.
No panel removal on my 2023 Braptor. I could literally do this again in about 30 seconds.

Oddly enough, one of the least expensive and least invasive to do things:
IAG rear soft top struts.
total game changer in every way.
