Why did you get a Bronco?

Was saving money to restore my 71 Bronco Sport that I used as every day driver for good five years. I purchase the Bronco in Rhode Island when i was working as a roofer and saw the beast for sale in a driveway of a small house on the way to the job. Next day i own it for $1200 . Think it was 1996. Drove it back to Massachusetts with the three gear manual on the column with the biggest smile I ever had. Now been sitting in a garage waiting to get a full upgrade. Then the new Bronco show up. To make things easy going to buy the new Bronco and keep my first love in dormant just i little longer.

4) I've wanted this dang thing since 2004 concept vehicle appeared.

I have several reasons but I think it's best summed up as "I'm turning 40 this year and this is my convertible mid-life crisis car".

only thing that checks most of my wants boxes factory. 35's, lockers, not an FCA product, good offroad, smaller suv.

My backup option is a 21 raptor or dumping money in a 200 series land cruiser.

I dont any guy would honestly say a girl in a bronco isnt a plus.

Besides my earlier comment of the only Ford available with manual trans and 4x4, but I had a 1990 5 speed Bronco II Eddie Bauer (hence my username) and absolutely fell in love with off roading. Unfortunately, the BII was a Beater with a capital B, so I want a nice manual Bronco for my daily.

I worked a Ford as a Salesperson and Sales Manager for 33 years. I just want one so I’m getting one. I will probably get a Sport and a regular Bronco. I’m getting old and I plan on keeping them 4 ever.

Wanted to buy domestic.

It will be our first domestic since a 98 Mercury Mountaineer. Since then we have had a pathfinder, two bmw 3’s, 4 runner, tsx, rdx, Audi Q5.

In 2017 I was shopping for a new car, looking at F150, Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler.
Ford announced the new Bronco!

I said, I’ll wait a “couple” of years and get a new Bronco!

And here I am!

I put a countdown clock app on my phone, counting down to June 21!
