I am confused .. what stuff are you deleting from the wildtrak?

I'm in line for a 4-door Badlands. I know I want the 2.7L/Auto and the Sasquatch package. When ordering time comes, I'm gonna look a "deleting stuff from the WildTrack" vs. "Adding stuff to the Badlands" and see how stuff shakes out.

How can you "delete" stuff from any model? I'm not sure it works that way.

I'm trying to figure out why Wildtrak is $7k more then the Badlands? It doesn't even have the weather proof seats, flooring and drain plugs. It doesn't come with the steel moduler bumper either.

What am I missing? You can't say Sasquatch because the Badlands has 95% of the Sasquatch. Just missing slightly bigger bump stops and 35 inch tires. Thats it.

I know it has the 2.7 and auto. But the Badlands has the sway bar disconnect. And all those other goodies I mentioned. Im sure I'm missing something.
This answer is found on the Ford Bronco website. You can compare both models and see exactly why one cost more.

Don't understand why you wouldn't want weather proof interior for sand dunes. All that sand inside the car screams for it to be hosed out to me.
Water isn't always the solution for cleaning sand and dust. Agitation and suction are often better solutions.

Where I tend to drive that is dusty/sandy the wash-out interior will not be helpful at all..... Speaking from experience trying to wash off dried lake bed dust.

Ford Bronco Why is Wildtrak $7k more then BL? dust-storm[1]

I dont think you can go wrong with any Bronco you chose. There all head and shoulders above what Jeep offers as far as options. The friggin Base Bronco is a luxury vehicle compared to the Jeep Sport.
Yep I agree
I think Ford has done awesome given us the options and trims to debate over..

I love it...
Well until I see prices of those said options..

Marketing....promoting it’s the model with Baja. Auto, 2.7, modular hardtop, mid and sas. If you work out predicted math even if you short change it looks about right.
Transmission probably will 1200-1500. 2.7 1000, modular hardtop (comparing to Jeep) $1800-2000, sas tires alone $1200, mid 1500-2000, then the rest of sas and Baja difference just for marketing.
I’m really thinking the auto is about $2200. This is based on the Base 2 door and 4 door price difference of $4700. The other trims have about $2500 difference between 2 door and 4 door. However with the Base 4 door is coming standard with the 10 speed, one can only imagine that the auto cost the difference:

$4700 - $2500 = $2200 for the auto trans

The 2.7L is in the air, I’m going with $1000-1500

The bigger mystery from a pricing standpoint is Outer Banks vs Wildtrak, since if you add hard top, 2.7 and Sasquatch to the Outer Banks it's essentially the same as the Wildtrak without the hood graphics or Baja mode. Are those 3 options together really more than $10,000?

That's a lot of additional stuff as compared to the OBX. And it has 7 GOAT modes vs 6 in the OBX as well as a different advanced 4x4 system and front axle.

It doesn't have sway bar disconnect though right? Im also surprised that it doesn't have the weather proof interior.
I think the disconnect is in the Badlands and the First Edition.

I've struggled with this too since the WT has everything I want except for the swaybar disconnect. If the BL with the Mid Package, 2.7 Auto, Painted Hardtop + Squatch'd is within a couple grand from the WT then the BL is a no-brainer for me.

Well, back in 2002 when I ordered my F350, there were "Carpet delete" and "rear seat delete" options. That's the last time I factory ordered something so, maybe times have changed. <dunno>

Do you guys feel the Wildtrak us worh the $7k more with the options it comes with?
BL will be more than Wildtrack with the above options others have pointed out, also read Ford's description carefully, we may get an option.

Ford's description says "swaybar disconnect" is "standard" on Badlands..I know we have been told it's only BL & FE that will have that component ..but when they say "standard" that could mean there is an option.

Hopefully its an option on all the models. I think they should make all options available across the board. The way they tout the Base as build your own.
