The ol’ “I have so much traction I can wheelie but simultaneously don’t have enough traction and my wheels are spinning creating smoke” effect of ‘Murican Vee Ate powah 😍😍

Would 4L give more torque and have a better chance to wheelie?

I added sport mode to my badlands last week... It's quite punchy... But mines a moardoor so I doubt it'll do that lol... Leaving from 2nd to get rid of the 1st gear tq management?

1st gear. Built boost on the brake. Whipple Tune & K&N CAI are the only performance mods. I’m losing a lot of gear ratio with the 37’s. It was way more peppy / violent with the 35’s. I just never realized it was actually yanking the tires off the ground.

Turning traction control off and locking the rear diff would probably yield “better“ results, but I’m already on the verge of breaking crap. I don’t feel the need to twist a driveshaft or break an axle. 🤭😂

The wheelie is crazy, your amazing pulling that off. I know you were going for a 80’s full size look with the slant back top graphic but the 6g just looks like a Bronco 2 recreation to me, either way it looks cool and great job on both.

Eeeh... considering its wheelbase and deep gears it's really not that surprising.

Take the front end weight & multiply by feet of wheelbase.. divide that by launch gear ratio & divide again by axle ratio.. that's the torque it'll take to lift the front end.. provided there's enough traction.

CJ5’s with the 304 V8 would wheelie. But they also broke rear axles regularly trying to do so. Bronco’s always had better rear axles, even way back then.

I looked at this many years ago to see how the trickery was done, although it looks good you can see that they used some photoshop and used some lifting device as you look close just before it lifts you cannot see the right front tire underneath the car. Surely lots of other effects done through the making, but this looks awesome.

Yeah, that “smoke” dissipates too fast.

Guess that tune removes the torque management in first?

Stock in first gear it limits power so much

We want pics or video!
Going to have to be Wednesday at work, wife got PISSED when I asked her to video me trying something real quick after I just spent 2 grand on it fixing stuff I broke last month 🤣
My strategy is going to be 2nd gear in 4L hoping for max boost and minimal clutch slip
