Has anyone found a legit aftermarket wiper replacement? I’ve tried Anco 170E and the clips aren’t right. They’re holding, but not fully secured by 3 clips.

That’s after Napa sent me 22” Proformer. My fault for not researching that they are 17” before ordering.

It seems like the generic aftermarket is slightly off.

I've never found a set of aftermarket ones at any price point or manufacturer I am ever as happy with as the originals.
I've tried all the latest rage in curved blades, Rain-X impregnated, silicone, rubber, Adamantium.
They either wear out much sooner than factory originals, don't wipe as well, skip/hop, or have poor fitment.
As crazy and small as it seems, the wiper blades are the one thing I'll be going back to the dealer to get. Or at least give it a shot, hoping they will perform as well as factory.
Factory ones on my 2019 Silverado worked like a dream until almost 2 years after purchase last October. On my 2nd aftermarket set already. I purchased the Bosch Icon's first, trying out the Rain-X Latitude now. Bosch skipped across a section all the time, Latitudes already are not as good as 2 months since new.
YMMV.

A little surprised you already need to replace your wipers. Are the originals worn out or are you just trying to upgrade?

Worn out already. 8 months. Leaving streaks.

my rear window wiper was toast the first rain. dirt mtn hard top hear and none of the books list any wiper info even if they do go to 2022. Kind of crappy that in a few months people will be gearing up for 2023 models and a 2021 windshield wiper is unknown.

I have to agree with you - I've tried aftermarket wipers on my Camaro and also our Jeep Grand Cherokee, without great success and always went back to OEM. Crazy thing is, the Camaro OEM ones ended up being cheaper than most aftermarket ones!

The Jeep ones on the other hand, well that's a different story - they are very proud of them!

I tried upgrading the originals to Bosch. Can confirm none of them fit, and even the ones that were guaranteed didn’t fit and now I have to go back and get my money back.

the originals on mine are leaving streaks after a roadtrip from Mass. to TN. Lots of bugs plus the upright windshield have left the wiper blade looking like a bread knife. I suppose I’ll get oem ones, but I think the originals kinda stink.

Looking closely it looks like the blade itself should be replacable, so should be cheap enough to carry spares. :)

don’t have a bronco yet so not sure if they fit properly but Bosch Icons have been my go to for years and they’ve been great on a variety of vehicles.

Do any of you clean your wiper blades? I find they get super filthy. I use a separate cloth with some type of cleaner- car wash detergent or even windex and wipe the blade part repeatedly. I find even after a week they are dirty. I try and clean them every couple of weeks. Wiping the blades with Rain-X also helps. By keeping them clean I can get about 2 or 3 years out of them. After that that the rubber just hardens too much.

Nope. The Bronco has a new style of engagement. Bosch wont work.

17” - but, aftermarket doesn’t fit the wiper arms. New clip system.

I have a friend with a Yaris, with basic-ass wipers and Toyota sells just the blade refills...cheap. And they're as good as anything out there
