So what happens if your dealer has 1000 reservations converted to orders, they're allocated 500 Broncos and you're #501? You don't get yours till 22 even if your reservation timestamp is super early? But if you were to switch your dealer to a dealer with extra allocations (even though you'd have to guess at which dealers that would be) you'd get yours in 21?

I wonder if/when dealerships will know their allocation amount and if they'll share that info with their customers. I guess dealers probably won't know their allocation amount until after March 19th and at that time it's too late for customers to switch dealers. Scary.

It'd be awesome if Ford used current reservation data to help customers spread out to avoid this allocation trap. Like show real time active reservation count of each dealership on their website (map or dealer search tool) along with estimated allocation based on those reservations.

OR get rid of the allocation thing all together.

Ford has said a lot since reveal. The game will change once dealers start to convert orders. Some of these smaller dealers have some good deals for customers. Once they begin converting at higher numbers Ford will begin to cater to the smaller dealers.

You get screwed. That’s what. Maybe all of these people switching to Granger wasn’t the smartest or brightest idea. Hope I am wrong though.

Gezzzzz.....Him hinting that Sasquatch is limited really bothered me. He repeated it numerous times.

I have less confidence that I will get a 2021 model even though my reservation is beginning of August. Even folks that reserved in July but have poor dealer allocation may be 2022 customers.

Yeah, a BroncoNation member might be able to get clarification of "Are you more or less likely to get your Bronco quicker at a large reservation count dealer or a small reservation count dealer?"

Talked to my dealer about that months ago. They said that yes it's a nice deal but you'll be waiting well into 22 to get it. Since I was 3rd in line at my dealer that's a big NOPE for me.

He also reconfirmed that Ford corporate is prioritizing reservation holders that convert BEFORE any stock. That is to say the allocation really just is the round robin system so that is not horrible.

Should I be worried or excited

So with his response about the allocations to dealers...

Does this mean that dealers like Granger that have tons of reservations could potentially have 1st or 2nd day reservations holders that get pushed to 2022?

Just because they have so many and only get allocated “X”

@StephensAutoCenter What do you think about this? This video makes me nervous that even though you have 300+ reservations, Ford may only allocate 50, 100, 150? Who knows? Thoughts?
