In this age of everything self-service seems like a no-brainer to extend Ford's portal so that once you are logged in to your account, armed with your VIN and order #'s, you should be able to get this info and not require staffing a phone bank. Reduce expense WHILE improving customer sat? Whaaaaaa . . . ? I'm sure it's much more complicated than that as the data is no doubt on different systems but uniting disparate data sources into a value-add client-facing data store is something that companies have been doing for years and years.Thanks, I just called and had no issues getting the amount and cert#. I have an April expiration date but expect Ford to extend that out before I get delivered.
@Ford Motor Company something really needs to be put out by Corporate for resolution on the certs, too many are getting misleading information so there needs to be an issue line or FAQ's that have some real answers and real person with the authority to add or make changes on behalf of your customers.
