Ok, I read through this thread. It seems like mounting the B.A.L.L.S. on the outer picatinny slots and center are out of the question. Kind of a bummer. I should have realized that. I now wish I went with MONO BALL SLAP for my OCD desire for symmetry. It will work the same way. The Picatinny slot, without the BALL CUP, reduces the overall distance by 8-10mm which will allow the threads to protrude beyond the nut. Functionally, they work the same. Visually, they are different.
Any Idea when 20mm Balls are gonna be shippable? Thx - JerryYou can use the 1/4-20 position that the button head is in now. There's four 1/4-20 threaded mount positions on the TAP plus the two pill slots in the rail.
@EIGHTLUG can you send me a replacement 1/4-20 hex flat head screw and washer for the center section of my BYOD?You can use the 1/4-20 position that the button head is in now. There's four 1/4-20 threaded mount positions on the TAP plus the two pill slots in the rail.
@EIGHTLUG that was me, maybe you can send them with my templar end plates that should be going out soon?Did you email us this week about this, or was that someone else?
@EIGHTLUG My other car is a k-swap Miata with a GT250 wing. You had a few different styles of carbon end plates on your site that I don't see anymore, I must've ordered at the right time. There aren't a bunch of carbon end plate options for that air foil. Order 4745 for your reference! You're a diverse product customer! BAM and (my favorite) TEMPLAR Wing End Plates. End plates should ship out early this week.
So smart! I wouldn’t have thought to use those mount points. I’ll give that a try! Thanks. You can use the 1/4-20 position that the button head is in now. There's four 1/4-20 threaded mount positions on the TAP plus the two pill slots in the rail.
We're in the process of getting our own waterjet to cut the carbon plates with. Once that is all up and going, we'll make the end plates live again, along with new end plate designs.@EIGHTLUG My other car is a k-swap Miata with a GT250 wing.
