I have been going back and forth on getting a 2 dr or 4dr Bronco. I was wondering if anyone here bought a 2dr and now wished they had gotten a 4 dr.
My situation…

no kids, 99.9% of the time it’s just me or one other person going camping, fishing to the store or whatever. My worry is the space for cargo that has me second guessing the number of doors. Not that I haul a ton of crap but will there be the “man I wish I had more space” thoughts causing regret.

I don’t plan on wheeling, it will be exploring logging roads while in the PAC NW and desert roads when I head south for vacations.

The 2 dr seems more nimble for exploring the mountains and a lot easier around town. The 4 dr just seems huge to drive around but I spent decades driving an xtra cab Toyota pickup that is not as wide but is longer than a 4dr and it was fine.

this decision is making me nuts!

many wisdom passed my way is greatly appreciated!!
two door BD sas. space? I built a utility trailer to carry camping gear, motorcycle, fishing stuff, surf board and anything else I may want/need to take with me. enjoy

I have no regrets but after 2 years of a 2dr I just decided it was time for a 4dr, even with the rear seats removed I just didn't have enough room. Love the look of the 2dr, it's classic, but the 4dr is just more practical, at least for me.

Will miss the school bus

No regrets what so ever…. Just laugh at the 4 doors attempting crawling and getting stuck…. Unless you are into jumps and desert running 4doors are for moms

No….even though I haven’t took ownership yet. 4 dr to big, don’t need all that. Now if my kids were still in school, use the wife’s edge.

Why the hate for 4 doors? It’s a Bronco no matter what anyone thinks. Ford built it as such. Even that model that resembles and F150 is a Bronco. 2 doors are very cool. Just not practical for me. And there are no rocks where I live. Seashells yes.

My wife and I and our English Creme Golden Retriever went antiquing and hiking (Enchanted Rock) this past weekend in my 2DR. And we had all the space we needed. A little planning, a little forethought but we did it, no problems.

The 2-door has a cargo challenge for sure, but I knew that when I ordered it. If I really need the space, I'll come up with something other than lugging around an extra two doors all the time.

Had a 1st edition 2021 2 door... Getting friends in/out the back for skiing, etc was a total pain in the ass. Couldn't get the dog in easily either.

100% glad I got rid of 2 door and got the 4 door Wildtrak. So much more space and ease of use.

YMMV!

I have a 3 year old in a front facing car seat, and I was a little worried that it'd be a pain to get her into the car seat and buckled in. Nope, it's actually easier than in a four door sedan because the height makes it really easy to stand in front of the carseat and buckle her in (though I'm sure it helps that I'm 5'9 on a good day).
