The 4.7 gears help make up for the 34.5" tires so it would be roughly the same as a 3.73 gear with 32" tires so that's not the problem. Dealers say a lot of stuff to try to make you think everything is normal. How many miles do you have on the Bronco at this point? It does take some miles to break in and then the mpg will go up and probably the power as well.

I’m probably going to get ousted but would like to talk about performance boosts and a bronco.
I love this rig probably more than any previous rides and there have been way too many!
Anyway had a ranger 2.7 before this one and day one driving my stock 2.7 sas thought its a dog.
after driving for a couple weeks found it’s plenty fast for how I use it. Past 2 days had a 4cly Nissan loaner car and well. Puts the Bronco to shame as much as the 2.7 ranger regarding how peppy they are.
Why this post? IMO it’s not worth it dumping hundreds just to get HP that’s still gonna be slower than a 4 banger Nissan rouge
dealer told me the difference between my old ranger and this Bronco was weight, 34.5” tires and 4. whatever gear ratio. Did they lie just like a dealer?
Something might be wrong with your Bronco. What fuel do you use? Are you sure you have the 2.7? I wouldn't call my Bronco "fast", we have a notably faster car and have had faster performance oriented cars in the past - but I would still put it at above average. The 2.3 I would personally rate as average. That one felt doggy to me to drive. Even mine with bigger tires than the gearing is rated for is till fun to drive & feels "sporty" and can definitely hold it's own.

Yep, 2.7. I’m ok with the performance, just driving only the Bronco and stepping into a turbo car or the 2.7 ranger, they are noticeably quicker.
