A trans for free would be because it was inclusive in the price of the engine. It is done with other manufacturers as well as Ford on other models.
Ford doesn't do this on other models. The transmission and engine changes are separate. Right now, the only manual transmission equipped vehicle that Ford sells is the Mustang. It's about $4000 to go from the Ecoboost Premium to the GT (2.3T to 5.0). The 10 speed transmission is $1595 on either the 2.3T or 5.0.

The only time you see a transmission included is when there is a hybrid option. But Ford prices that in to the entire hybrid system.

I stand corrected. However the management of this whole process is a shit show. Granted most people not on this forum would not know the difference as of yet. That is unless they saved a copy of their build.

And they raised the standard 4 Door by the same amount which unlike the BB has no 7sp option
I’d hold off before making that assumption. The base 4 door is a bit of an odd duck, I wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn't apply to it.

there’s still a lot of weirdness going on with the b&p and Ford raising prices on multiple models right now. I’d recommend waiting for the dust to settle at the moment.

It's a complete shit show. Ford only has themselves to blame.

I would hope to see a letter from the new CEO on how all these fuck up's are happening. And each time screwing their "potential" and "current" customers a little bit deeper. How are they even calculating pricing at this point? Throwing shit to the wall and seeing what sticks with all these changes. Computers exist to track this sort of stuff. We can fly people to the moon 40 years ago with computers that take up an entire building but Ford can't price a god damn vehicle correctly? Did I miss anything?

It’s a price increase of exactly $1,595, the auto trans price. SQ was always $5,790, but showed as 5,000 incorrectly in some parts of B&P thanks to the idiots who built that site.

To be fair, we always knew it was a possibility that this would happen. Makes no sense to include a trans upgrade for free. Still doesn’t excuse the idiots taking 2 months to change this and then having the balls to call them “preliminary issues” though.
Especially since their published price guide listed the Auto as standard with Mid Package or V6. If it cost more than it should have had "Required".

This is clearly a bait and switch by Ford. They know what they are doing.

I think the fact that the question was asked for months... MONTHS... about the pricing of the auto and was confirmed and never corrected not a single time by anyone, not Levine, not a single Bronco “specialist” at any of the shows or events, is point #1 why everyone is pissed (myself included). You would think that there would be additional charges for the A10, but that’s why the question was asked repeatedly, with the same answer every time.

“Yes it is and it’s a steal.”
If I could find the Levine tweet I would post it repeatedly. If he can’t take the questions and the anger from a group of passionate enthusiasts who have been lied to for months then he should find another profession. I don’t expect him to be active here, but be honest and up front With correct information like you’re supposed to be and don’t feed us garbage and expect us not to notice. If Farley or one of the other suits made the call, Levine is the guy paid to take the heat for it, and I’m sure he’s getting paid plenty to do so.

I'm confused, what is the $2495 for? And don't tell me it's for some stupid Fk'in beadlock capable wheels that I could give 2 shits about. Because that'll just annoy me. If Ford wants to rape me some more on wheels and tires, let ME PICK the wheels and tires. ;)
Good luck. ?

I can get a 4x4 from any other maker with wireless charger and upgraded stereo for about $10000 less than a fully loaded bronco. The problem for me isn’t the jump in price it’s that a fully loaded bronco comes out to $60000-$61000. Why wouldn’t I just go buy a raptor? By next year my $60000 bronco should be worth $30000 once the warlock comes out and nobody wants the 2.7 V6. I live in Florida so that $60000 bronco comes out to about $65000 after taxes and whatever other fees the dealer fees. Shit I wouldn’t be surprised if the bronco comes out to $70000 for me.
Raptors are currently going about $10k over invoice and they aren’t making a 21, so not really an option and seems unlikely to find one under 75k right now. It will also be a discontinued model and will take a hit when the 22 comes out. Tremor maybe in 21 is a better choice? I am tired of the size of my F150 and. Raptor makes all the dimensions bigger, so the Tremor would be more interesting to me anyway (Ranger Tremor ??). I agree the Bronco is expensive and it makes me take pause with the new pricing, but right in line with the Jeep when I went through B&P this morning (I am not interested in a Jeep, was just curious).

Have to say that i'm not surprised by the price bump. Talking about just the base model, adding all the hardware upgrades that Squatch does over stock, it's still a no-brainer for those who are serious about driving offroad.

For those who just wanted the coolest looking parking lot trophy rig they can find, the price will seem as overkill as the hardware is for that purpose.

The price to play with engine/transmission upgrades has come down quite a bit over the past decade, but having essentially the entire driveline upgraded plus every ounce of the un-sprung weight for only $7,995 is a sweetheart of a deal. And why the Badlands has been priced where it is as the alpha of the offroad+comfort builds.

The trim that was really affected by this was the Black Diamond. In its base form it is still kinda relevant but as soon as you add Sasquatch it doesn't have a place. Wildtrak is cheaper for the money.

Fair points on that pricing philosophy but I see an issue that the Advanced 4x4 only available on Squatch as kind of a kick to the cookies right now. Why does it NEED to be tied to the Squatch suspension? UNLESS Ford KNEW that alone it would have been far too popular and they couldn't keep that production up.
