Ford doesn't do this on other models. The transmission and engine changes are separate. Right now, the only manual transmission equipped vehicle that Ford sells is the Mustang. It's about $4000 to go from the Ecoboost Premium to the GT (2.3T to 5.0). The 10 speed transmission is $1595 on either the 2.3T or 5.0.A trans for free would be because it was inclusive in the price of the engine. It is done with other manufacturers as well as Ford on other models.
The only time you see a transmission included is when there is a hybrid option. But Ford prices that in to the entire hybrid system.
