It's probably just better, if you don't currently have a VIN/build date, just to wait until one shows up on your dealer lot and hope for not too much ADM. Waiting another full year until 2023 production when they're telling us some will be sitting on a dealer lot already is absurd.

As a 2 door Mod Top reservation holder this may finally be the straw that breaks the camels back.
I don’t think my old truck is going to make it till 2023 or beyond (based on this fiasco so far).
I guess I’m going to have to start looking at other options. I’m beyond disappointed.

Just got this

I can confirm not all FE orders got this email as of 4:36 PM Eastern (I haven't seen it yet, but expect it will follow the 6:14 rule (seems every update I get from Ford is at 6:14 PM - when I ordered an Escape in 2019, the Bronco, and even my Maverick order.. all same time... ). Even without the e-mail, it kind of sucks, but glad to know its in the chute somewhere now.

I ordered a soft top anyway. So does this email mean that I will be getting the hardtop wire kit too? Hopefully I will be getting my scheduled date email soon, but the way this thing has been playing out, probably won't get my Bronco till 22.

As I've stated before, Billy Bob with $$$ is going to be riding in a Bronco that he bought from a dealership for 70k while committed RESERVATION holders (some may have already sold a vehicle to be ready for a Bronco) are possibly waiting another year to get theirs.

And all Ford offers is a Free MIC Headliner and some points/ Off Roadeos?!

My dealer just told me that 4 door Badlands can't have a soft top, just hard top.
Excuse me? No, that's Wildtrak and 1st Edition.
He's not in the office right now, and had one of the other sales guys try and change it, and that's what he heard back.
He's going to fix it on Monday when he gets back into the office, but I'm just like...

But Ford still isn't clear about what that kit is. Does that mean it is pre-wired and installed for defrost and wiper fluid/electric? Or are they just throwing all of that #$%& in a box and saying here is your "kit"?

Considering they say it is effective in September I'd imagine that means new tooling is needed, ergo pre-wired

My email didn't have the part about ford pass points. Thats weird.

Mine either, but I suspect that version only went to original MOD top orders that got points for switching to MIC or soft
