Hard to believe it’s been 5 years already.

I was lucky enough to get one of the very first 2-door Broncos delivered back in July 2021, First Edition #134 (Thanks Team Ford Las Vegas!). I started this build thread when there were almost no aftermarket parts available, and some of the first “mods” involved modifying cabinet brackets to mount shit, chinese bootleg lights, and a lot of figuring things out as i went.

Five years later, it’s still my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned - and I am old, so I've had quite a few. I haven't been on Bronco6g much the last couple years, but this was an amazing resource for me for the first few years of the Bronco -especially before they were delivered, we were all grabbing on to every rumor or piece of info we could get!

If I had to do it all over again… I’d order the exact same Bronco.

Attached are some photos including the day I got it (under the casino lights) and my build page. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/first-edition-2-door-build.20866/#post-745551

Fantastic pictures of an AWESOME choice!!! I have the 2dr FE in the same color, and I love it. Got #73 in November because it sat on dirt mountain for several months waiting for a new top. Im with you, I would buy the SAME thing if I got a choice to do it again.

Early July 21 delivery here, it's been a great 5 years. Really only the shock thing, and the window rattle for me. 2.3 MT Soft-top 4DR Badlands. Mammoth makes beast like campers. Great rig. I see you have a little squat while towing. I pull a similar style Voyager, I used Sumo Springs Blue to eliminate the squat. You'll need extra spacers to dial it in with a lift.

That tow pic was from 2021 on the maiden voyage of the trailer. I upgraded to Icon HD springs in the rear and solved that squat. Prior my headlights were pointing straight up! Haha

Glad it’s been a fun ride! I’m still in my First Edition, but it’s been a nightmare. I’ve had turbo underboost issues. It’s currently up on blocks because I got a “Shift Solenoid E off” error and I found the teeth of a clutch pack in the transmission pan when I dropped it. The trans oil was solid black. No way I’m paying $10k for Ford to put a new transmission on so I’m wavering between rebuilding the trans myself or getting a whole remanufactured trans.
