Hmm, what does this mean for me. My dealer was fairly confident I would be getting a 22'. 2DR Badlands Lux Non-SAS if anyone is curious. I DO have a VIN and order number.

If you have a VIN for a MY22 then this thread has absolutely nothing to do with you and has zero impact on you getting built.

Ahh, thanks. So much info it can get confusing to figure out what applies and what doesn't.

What are the chances Broncos waiting for chips since July might get finished before they start making MY23?

Did you place a brand new order or rolled over a MY22 order?

Brand new order
That's a no no and not allowed.

Not surprised that dealers are not playing by the rules and trying to place new orders (some dealer even tried placing a new order for a BRaptor). Glad WBDO is actually preventing this.

Edit. Faq link.

Not your fault. Dealer should have told you. They will most likely hold the order and submit it when the banks open back up to the public. Speculated to be in late Q4 or early Q1.

Or they just place the new order into an existing order that had been cancelled/abandoned.

I received an email the other day from Ford on my new order for 2023. I cancelled that one last spring and they refunded my deposit. Looks like they never cancelled the order but just put it in PC'99 for the remainder of MY'22. They likely shoehorned a new customer into my old order. Not sure how they get around COVP.

Hopefully not. Maybe hard top. It's a two door base just with aux switches. Manual transmission
Hard top is consistently the worst constraint. While Ford has never officially admited it, pretty sure that the MT has also been constrained.

I have the same build as you. Base 2-door, with Aux and nothing else. Ok, I sprung the extra 295 for Rapid Red (which obviously didn't happen).
