Any suggestions? I called the sales guy I am working with and he (and his manager) are saying that code 99 means it is a special order. ?!?!?

I would absolutely freak out if I had been waiting since Feb 2021 and my dealer thought a 99 was a “special order”.

Yeah apparently they don’t understand. 1-9 is generally different than 10-19 which is a customer or retail order, but 99 is definitely “do not build”. A lot of people who want to wait for a painted top or other features have “99’ed” their orders until 2023 models start going into effect, then their dealer will switch to a 10-19.

I called Ford last Friday. Gave them the order number and dealer code. Still don’t have a VIN but they said he order was “clean”. I asked them to elaborate to which he responded there are no holds on the order. Still not really sure to make of this?
Original order 2/2/21. Re-order 10/18/21.

It means it's not being built due to some other factor... timestamp, allocation, incompetence...

I would call your dealer, talk to a sales manager and tell them to change the priority code to 10-19 ASAP.
