I got bumped from 8/15 to 8/22 build week got the official e-mail from Ford

2022 Wildtrak, leather, lux, tow, slide out tailgate, soft top, tube doors and HOSS 3.0 with steel bumpers and skid plate

I talked with the owner of my dealership and he told me I had a build date of 8/15 and gave me my vin# 5 days later I get email from Ford and a build date of 8/22 so I may have been bumped more than I know about ? Hopefully there is a light at the end of this tunnel. maybe the headlights of a 2 dr. BB, 2.7 , ht.

Finally get to be part of build week. Just checked on the backdoor link and it shows the production the week of 8/22. Probably the early stages of delays, but a boy can dream

Holy hell....just logged in to the backdoor link for ten thousandth time. Amazed to see a scheduled for production week! I know I will likely get bumped, but still, about freakin time. No email yet.

Long time lurk, not sure if I’ve posted before today. Checked the back door and I have a build date for first time. Badlands Sasquatch 4door hard top. Day 3 reservation, ordered on time both times. Long time waiting. I’m hopeful that this goes smoother than my f150. It had a 1/18 build, finally got chip 6/27 still hasn’t shipped. Let’s go Ford!

Same thing just happened to me. Yesterday, early morning, I checked the back door Link and nothing. This morning I checked it and I'm scheduled for 8/22.

No email from Ford or my dealer as of yet. Going to try the trick to pull my vin in a few.

Fyi, reservation date of 7/19/20 and Order date of 1/29/21 (yes it actually shows 2021 as my order year)

Found out through Ford chat that my order is under 8/22 build week. Outerbanks, MIC, CG.

When I placed the order with the dealer it was a standard Mid package as the outerbanks comes with. I asked them to upgrade to a high package on March 7th before order banks closed. When I called the dealer yesterday after finding out a build week was assigned he said the high package had not been put in on time and could no longer be changed without losing price protection and the order all together.

Although this is very frustrating, I'm not in a huge rush as my old car still runs fine, but I have to decide if I should keep this one and place a 23MY order like I want it and then just sell/trade this once the 23 comes in or cancel this order and just place another on 8/15. The dealer said I could likely trade it in for well above MSRP. Any thoughts or advise?
