12/16/21 order, should I buy a daily in the mean time or wait?

I have a 4 door Wildtrak hardtop tow package I ordered on 12/16/21. I currently don’t have a daily, I was debating about buying another car in the meantime being it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting it anytime soon, should I buy a daily or wait in hopes I’ll get the bronco by the end of the year? Thanks

Really depends on your needs and capacities. If you walk everywhere and don't really need a car, and aren't capable of maintaining a cheap beater or easily paying for something nice and new or newish, then don't. If you really need a daily driver immediately and just won the powerball, then go for it. If you're somewhere in between, then I don't know.

Adding to the above, know that some here have ordered and received a Bronco in 4-5 months. Many others are still waiting after 500 days. No one knows how the decisions of what is built when are made. My dealer told me it would be a year.

Know anything about your dealer allocations?
I have an 8/2/2020 reservation for a WildTrak and still no build date.
And yet I ordered a 2nd Bronco from a different dealer this past December and already have a build scheduled for the week of 3/28.

no idea, it’s a place called miller ford in nj, only got the order confirmation email a couple hours after I placed the order, like above have mentioned, my luck I’ll buy something and I’ll get the build date the next day lol, I just have no faith with the constraints with the hardtop and tow package.

Maybe talk to your dealer, see if they have something you could buy in the meantime with a guaranteed trade in value or something. Just a thought. Or buy a 2nd car now, like a sports car that you plan to keep once the Bronco arrives!
