QUOTE: "Does this help or hurt existing Bronco Reservation holders at Granger? – We are doing this to help our existing Bronco reservation holders get their Bronco quicker. The 3 factors in the allocation process are the number of reservations of a store, market size and Ford sales of that dealership. We can control 2 out of those 3. We are doing our best to sell as many Ford vehicles possible, even purchasing inventory from other Ford dealerships local to us to sell in an effort to increase our sales numbers. The biggest piece of the puzzle comes with adding more reservations that convert to orders."

Does this language mean that you are trying to help existing reservation holders get their bronco quicker because the Friday Ford dealer/allocation news in fact did change delivery timelines for some of the many existing reservation holders on your end?

Sorry, there was so much information flying left and right in that other thread that may have been assumption and speculation. And that may not be what you are saying, so apologies if I am reading that wrong. That is an admirable customer focused solution for some of those people if that is the case.

There will be a bottleneck because Ford can only produce so many per day, month, year so we are wanting to alleviate pressure on the Granger line to keep the flow going easily...

Yes the Friday meeting played into it, however we did not see it as a total negative for our store and situation...

We feel that they treated us equitably...

So here is a question you may or may not have an answer for. If we take advantage of this offer we already know we probably won't expect to get our Bronco until the 2022 MY. When would we be actually placing our orders?? I'm holding out for some better color choices and I'm hoping there are next MY. Would we have to order based on what is available 2021 MY??
Excellent question.

I am thinking of doing the same thing.

I don't know about anyone else, but with the great job Albert is doing, i think he deserves a raise!
Forget a raise, give him commission on ALL of the Bronco reservations he has brought in.

This awesome....

Now I have to be cynical for a moment- cue chair throwing memes..\

I am assuming this is being done in part to "shake out" some current reservations you have that maybe were made at a later date and holders are concerned they may not make the cut, or maybe folks who have a reservation, but may not convert it...

This would free Granger up and lower their load to actually fill all of their current reservations. Are you guys planning on being able to fulfill all of your 2021 reservations in 2021 or are you anticipating some may fall into 2022??

For me, if I was a later date reservation holder, this would be important because if I am gonna wait till 2022 anyway, might as well save some more bucks. Also it gives Ford a chance to work out the kinks.

I like the idea... (y)

We do not feel the transfer reservations are at risk they will close at a much higher percentage than the organic "Huh, Bronco, Cool" I can reserve and back out no problem...

So to fill our bucket with quality customers that want the Bronco is best for us and to take pressure off the Granger Line if possible...

I live in northern IL with very little dealership loyalty. Is there any reason I shouldn't transfer my rez to Granger? I made my rez within the first 48. I need a new truck asap as my current is on life support- I cannot afford to put more money in her. Will switching give me an edge in taking delivery quicker? I will probably assume it will be a savings for me in price as my current dealer has not really communicated with me at all on pricing. The drive to Granger is only 4-5 hours. Not something I want to do but not so horrendous that it should be a deterrent if there are clear advantages. Thanks to all forum members and Granger for making this a positive online community.

That’s an awesome deal @Zach@Granger . I’m one of the fence sitters that will likely be swayed by this offer. I was targeting a 22 delivery anyway, but I was just going to wait it out and see what happened. This is enough to push me off the fence!

thanks for the support you’ve given the bronco 6g community.

I am seriously thinking about placing an October 1st order with Granger and then canceling my mid September order with the dealer in town.... Ford will let me do this right?
Yes they will...

My guess is with the rest of us, I did not ask Zach that question...?‍♂

I don't see how Ford could stop you BUT you will be submitting 2 orders this December. And eventually backing out of 1 and losing $100.

Hmm, i might place a brand new reservation in case shady crap at my dealer happens or i decide i want a 2022 model.

Basically a backup reservation with a big discount. Is this allowable?

So did Granger just call and raise itself....lol.

Great to hear for those on the fence. Although I am already reserved with Granger and a 7/13 reservation I am glad they are trying to get their orders moved up in the pecking order as a consolation prize. Looking forward to picking up the new horse for the stable.
