Another thing I'm noticing... those gauges look analog to me. Hope the digital screen is at least an option
Literally the only thing I use my digital gauges for in my Focus is fuel economy. Loves me some analog sweep gauges.

Focuses don't have an actual digital cluster. The cluster in my 2018 Mustang is one of my favorite features of the car

Nice touch on all the AUX switches, loving the beefy toggle design as well. The (good) problem I'm going to have is that the completionist in me will want all the switches to control something - Ford is probably going to have a field day w/ me in regards to accessories.

Could anyone confirm (@ChrispyKC?) whether we'll have the specs available at reveal? This is the first time I'm really following a new-vehicle launch so I don't know what common practice is... if there is such a thing. Sure, it'll be nice to see the Bronco but I'm assuming it will look good - but I'm primarily interested in what it'll have for transmission options.

odds are we won’t get full specs at the reveal. just genera info and options. Full specs will probably come later (Detroit?)

If there's going to be a manual transmission, I'd bet my ridiculous government salary that they'll announce that at the big reveal.

I'm a bit confused. my 08 F-150 has one switch, 2H,4H,4L. That's it, typical 4WD truck. My 13 Explorer has the rotary switch, aka terrain management. like the mule. On the hatch of my Explorer it has an emblem that says 4WD (not what I think of when I think of 4WD)
Explorer is FWD for the most part and then splits to the rear depending on where that switch is.
Truck is RWD then, splits front to rear evenly, and lastly a selection for lower gearing.

I know this is just a mule but rotary switch not for "off-road enthusiasts" IMO Which is what the Bronco is for, or so we are told.
What is for the "off-road enthusiasts" is a transfer case lever. IMO there should be two levers, one for the front diff and one for the rear diff, but that's another story.

Does the Ranger or Raptor or current F-150 have both, lever and rotary switch ?? Is there a reason to have both ???

Most models just getting terrain management and then just the Warthog getting the transfer case lever ???

My take on the spy pics is a good one, I like the layout. I expected the upfitter switches, have seen them in the Super Duties. As far as the dash pod I have the same kind of symbols on my grizzlies, one for 4WD and one for diff lock. So I suspect that is what they are here. Not huge table, not huge vents. in general I like it. it is just a mule.:thumbsup:

I was thinking the new explorer that is a rear drive platform. From what I saw I thought the 4wd ones were 4 auto with terrain management. Probably a switch for the transfer case somewhere on this one surely.

The Ranger has a knob/dial similar to the one pictured here. You use the knob to select 2H/4H/4L, and I believe that there's a button in the middle of it that brings up the terrain mode menu.

My mom's XTerra has a knob. The Toyota Tundra uses a knob (which mine doesn't have, because it's 2WD, so instead, the factory installed a change holder, which is actually kind of handy, but not as handy as 4WD). Knobs for 4x4 mode selection are kind of the thing now.
