Anyone know what ForScan values would have to change to get it programmed? Also interested in taking the plunge and swapping the unit.

being super genuin and not trying to be a dick but @OP why is this nessisary if the temps are already displayed on the screen at all times?
So when I am in android auto on the 8 inch screen, in an app (like waze or pandora) which is how I always use the screen... the temps aren't there. Also i think the donut dials look too cheap. Also to prove its possible.

So it should basically be writing your as built values to the hvac module. Waiting on a forwcan dongle and time to confirm.

Since you have proven that the number is actually show up already, to me that would have been the hard part.

With your existing switches plugged in You should be able to use Forscan to just pull your numbers... Replace the switch with the new one, and then push the numbers...or something like that.

Basically you're not needing to change anything, but just program the new one like the old one.

Did you get the new unit reprogrammed successfully?

And did it affect the temps that were displaying on the screen? Did they stay or go away?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I haven't had a chance yet. Need to get my bronco in for the mt-88 tsb re: rotational noise. Just want to get that sorted before using forscan to change anything making sure to take the bullet out of the gun so to speak. The dealer has given me no reason for thinking this way. I don't think it would be an issue. But why do one right before the other is my thought.

Hoping to put the part in and program in January.

It was just loading the config from the old module to get the heated seats etc to the correct as built values. No special change to enable display.

This is exactly what needed to happen. #win
