2023 MY Bronco Order Bank Opens 8/15

I guess it makes sense, but for those of us without a build date for '22 it's not what we want to hear. Clean up the '22 mess before you start taking more orders!

Odds are increasing that 2023's get delivered before my 1/14 blend date stranded on ice mountain

Your Sunshine Mountain (new term for the upcoming change in season!) Bronco will have to finish being built before the switchover date for it to be a MY22 build.

And as Ford already reported the vehicle as built within the MY22 model year for tax/income/reporting/stock price manipulation purposes, I genuinely think that there will be a push at some point by Ford to empty out Sunshine Mountain before the switchover date.

Then fill it anew for MY23!

if they can’t get These tops for 2023 then I’m out . I would go explorer ST or a F-150 but now I’m hearing there’s crazy delays with those vehicles also

Having it built and having it delivered are two entirely separate things.

It can't start moving in transit until it's 100% built with every part required for the VIN.

And delivery isn't that bad compared to just sitting in a lot collecting sunshine.

We still have 5-6 months of 2022 production. Order bank open =/= build dates. The order bank typically opens 2-3 months prior to J1.

Can confirm 11/10 balance out for 2022.

Very good point. A lot can happen in 6 months. Hopefully for the better.

Actually, now that I'm looking at it, I don't have a single order Scheduled for July Production yet. So make that 4.5 Months.

How could there be? @Ford promised to make customer orders before dealer stock. And to go in reservation time stamp order.

No way any early resos don’t have theirs if they’re taking new orders.

I'd be willing to bet there's no painted mod top coming next year. I think the chances of getting a black mod top are slim to none as well, but would also be willing to bet that if they do announce them they'll be "late availability" before inevitably being pushed to 2024+
