The BASE model starts at mid 50,000s. I'd say Ford doesn't have to worry much.

Think this time next year Toyota will have more Broncos on their lots than Ford has on theirs.

A base 1958 is going to be out of my price range and from a quick read over looks like you can't get a sunroof or bigger screen with the round lights so I'm an unlikely defector.

I like it. But with how Toyota operates it'll be damn near impossible to secure one of these. They will be marked up, and then locked up with downpayments before they are even loaded on a truck headed for a dealer. In 2027 when I can actually get one i would consider it

It's going to cut into the "shiny new thing" buyer segment for sure. That's a good thing for Bronco culture.

I like the looks of it. Makes me suspicious if they won't kill off the 4runner though as this will eat into their own sales with the 4runner only a little cheaper
