So 74Weld has rolled out some new parts. After a quick phone call I got a billet passenger side housing and driver side bushing. Both have oil impregnated bronze bushing as the wear surface. 74Weld chose a few different design changes that really makes these more of a long term solution. Also the price is extremely fair!

I bought a HOSS 3.0 bushing and Housing! Fyi the passenger side housing is the same on HOSS 1.0 and HOSS 3.0 other than the boot mount. HOSS 3.0 uses a slightly bigger boot on the tie rod.

Steering knuckles would be next, but I'd bet we'll still see Tie Rod and Rack Failures more than knuckles, But the percentages will probably change some :)

Hoss 1&2 rack are the same.
Hoss3&4 rack are the same.

Difference beyond rack is suspension.
To my knowledge.

Plastic drive components are my guess. Current strength limitation is based on the thread size the tie rod going into the steering rack.

I think that depends on who is driving the upgraded Bronco.

One "tester" went from breaking tie rods and steering boxes to rolling on the side and flipping Bronco's over. He would be better off with weak tie rods to keep it wheels side down.

Today I spent the day at 74 weld looking at all their new products and dame their amazing. I picked up a rack for my bronco and will be offering them through my site. I love the idea of the 2.0 rack vs 3.0. No need to program and honestly the upgrade to the hosss rack isn’t that big of a deal to me. Once my rack is on I will be offering his rack throug my site . Intro price coming soon.

Are you becoming an authorized installer? I know 74Weld is trying to build a network of people.

The webbing is different on the case between 3.0 and the Raptor rack. I posted photos on the 3.0 rack thread.

I must be having a senior moment, and I think I've forgotten what is what..

Hoss 1 = basic trim Bronco's w/o Sasquatch
Hoss 2 = Sasquatch or Badlands
Hoss 3 = 2023 Wildtraks
Hoss 4 = Braptors

Is that right? And if so, with 74Welds (dare I say better) way of thinking, this new passenger end cap (along with some additional driver side bushing) is for all us Hoss 2 folks? (Sasquatch or Badlands)
There are 3 (Ford) racks -
(1) HOSS 1/2 - anything other than select ‘22 Wildtrak’s/23 Wildtrak’s and Braptors
(2)HOSS 3 - late year optioned ‘22 Wildtrak’s and all 23 Wildtrak’s
(3)Braptor racks

Yes sir can also drop shop racks once assembled to those that will swap their own rack
Keep me posted once this is up and running, I'll be looking at my options based on price point.

I also had the pleasure to hang out at 74Weld with Quinn and his guys. They installed their Steering Rack in my Bronco. I have broke 2 of the stock racks. I haven't been able to get out and test the new 74Weld rack yet, life has been a good busy with my work and business. I will have to say that Quinn and his team were very hospitable and showed me around the shop and all the upgrades they are working on. I can say this, They are a dedicated team to help this industry (off-roading) get to the next level. It was great that Quinn is willing to work with the public on these upgrades. Also thanks to @Exodus4x4 for doing my programming remotely. Looking forwarding to getting back out and off-roading again.
