Just means there will be more potential buyers in the resale market...because they'll want to do it too.

Was that you i just saw drive by?

My 1976 Bronco was/is an automatic and has never gotten stuck.

Can't we all just agree that the Bronco Sport and the Mustang Mach-E were terrible branding decisions by Ford, just like the Mustang II?
I see absolutely no difference. NONE.

Any argument that you make to call a 4-door Bronco a Bronco can be used for a 4-door Mustang Mach-E to be called a Mustang. It is literally the same argument. Absolutely no difference.

Plus the Mach-E can beat my 2-door manual transmission 2016 Mustang in the 1/4 mile and on the track. So the notion that is not worthy of the name because of performance reasons makes no sense either.

Also, the Bronco Sport is an absolute HOME RUN of a Launch. The name was a significant factor in its success. I see 3-5 of them every time I do my 5K walk in my neighborhood. EVERYBODY seems to want them now. I see lots younger drivers in them. I actually would not be surprised if they outsold the bigger Bronco, long-term.

I said no shade, but I must say jokingly:

The four-door is to the two-door as a trike “motorcycle” is to a two-wheel motorcycle. Don’t be mean to the guys in beige, Velcro Dr. Scholls prescription sneakers who want to feel included.

“Mine’s a ‘Bronco,’ too, guys! Wait up!”

The Bronco 2D and 4D are the exact same vehicle in different lengths.

The Mustang and the Mustang Mach-E are entirely different vehicles.

I love the Mustang. I also love the Mach-E. But they shouldn't share the same name. It's brand dilution. Ditto the Bronco Sport.

Fact Check:

A Bronco is a 2 door only

The 4 door Fake News vehicle is simply a Flex on steroids ... especially with the painted top

Y'all are welcome ... pay the receptionist on your way out 😘

Roof rails are the same length for both 2dr and 4dr. The 4dr version stops short.
Are we going to be able to add them after delivery? It tried to make me deselect options (sas and 2.7 I think) when I selected roof rails in the build so I left them off. Anybody know if they'll be "accessory ready"?

Seriously, you guys are becoming the vegetarians of the Bronco buffet. 😀

We already know the 2D looks best (just like the 2D version of pretty much every vehicle that’s ever existed). You don’t have to tell us this. Yet we still have perfectly-rational reasons for choosing the 4D:

We have family members we want/need to haul around and they are actual humans.

That 5th seat is 25% more seats = 25% more fun.

We want to take our adult friends for a ride in our Bronco without their having to contortionist their way into the back like common savages. Because we respect their dignity.

We want to carry more than 2 cans of Pringles in the cargo area while hauling rear-seat passengers.

We’re taller than 3’10” and may want to sleep in the thing sometimes.

We want to be able to haul gear into the great outdoors without packing light like it’s a 50-mile backpack excursion. (“I TOLD YOU STEVE, FREEZE-DRIED FOOD ONLY!!!”)

More flexible roof panels. (Your 2D rear passengers basically just get a common sunroof. “Gunner Hatch” isn’t fooling anyone.)

Longer roof rails.

Etc.

Can’t we all just get along?

Remember, two is great. But four is more.

😀👍🏼
Perfectly said!

Is a Bronco II a Bronco? Bronco II rules should apply to the Bronco Sport

So by your logic, an EV powertrain in an existing 2-Door Mustang body would be what exactly?

Mustang to me means fun to drive, wide appeal and sporty. The Mach-E checks all those boxes.
