I am a lady and I also drive a bright pink Miata, so if you are going to tease me about my car not being manly enough that should be the target. I’d love to hear what you thought would have been a better snow vehicle under 35k 4 years ago. Considered a Jeep but most people I know who have had them felt they were unreliable.

Never saw a Flex look this good. But then again I never saw a 2 door Bronco look this good either.

I don't care for big vehicles, and it's just me and my son. For me, 2 door felt more like the original Bronco, the one I loved, so that's why I chose the 2 door. Hell of a lot easier to park in mall parking lots too!

I must not be reading the right threads, as I've not seen bashing going on. If anything, Ford seems to be pushing the 4-door. I think I've seen more knives pulled about color, haha!

I have a big dog, can you imagine trying to stuff a dog into the back of a 2 door? I camp, and some years have gone camping almost every other weekend. I once drove a motorcycle from LA down Baja, then put it on a ferry across the sea to Mazatlán, and continued driving into the heart of Mexico for 4,000 miles. I may drive the Bronco to Costa Rica. I shoot and take a lot of rifles hunting or to the range. None of my lifestyle and plans for a Bronco would work well with a 2 door. For those that live their lives for LOOKS....well....glad you like the LOOKS of the 2 door so much. I'm getting a 4 door for how it will WORK.

No...you're not. You're blind as a bat if you think that is "close". It's about as close as a 2 door and a '76 Vega....

Basically, my theory is those that buy a 2-door (and many that buy the jacked up package) will not be actually using them, they'll be basking in the glow of how they look at a stoplight. Those that will be doing more camping, hunting, long distance travel, dog events, archeology....will be in the 4 door.

Any argument that you make to call a 4-door Bronco a Bronco can be used for a 4-door Mustang Mach-E to be called a Mustang. It is literally the same argument. Absolutely no difference.

Plus the Mach-E can beat my 2-door manual transmission 2016 Mustang in the 1/4 mile and on the track. So the notion that is not worthy of the name because of performance reasons makes no sense either.

Also, the Bronco Sport is an absolute HOME RUN of a Launch. The name was a significant factor in its success. I see 3-5 of them every time I do my 5K walk in my neighborhood. EVERYBODY seems to want them now. I see lots younger drivers in them. I actually would not be surprised if they outsold the bigger Bronco, long-term.

Also to be clear:
1. I think a 4-door Bronco is a Bronco.
2. I think a 4-door Mustang is a Mustang.
3. The logic for each is the same. Both capture the spirit of the Original just fine.
4. I don't get why people get so negative about a 4-door Mustang.
