I definitely wanted the hood protector to help keep rocks off the windshield. I was thinking of adding the hood graphic but instead opted for the hood scoop. My thought was exactly like others in this thread. Looks good as it breaks up the hood color. Matches MIC top, hood protector and fender flares. May help also deflect rocks from windshield. If you are going to buy this from Ford it is about $450. If you get it from IAG it is about $100. Needless to say mine came from IAG.
