Hey Ground Zero 298, nice job, you have a very eye catching Bronco, and the doors make it look even better. I did notice in one of your photos, your very unique Badlands badging on the front fenders. Would you be open to letting me know where you got those?

Doors. $1700
Paint and mount (O’Brien ford body shop) $1200
Door brackets $425. Only uses door side but both pieces included
Right upper door hinge
M2DZ 7822800 A $151.21
Left Upper
M2DZ 7822801 A $151.21
Right lower
M2DZ 7822810 A $60.92
Left lower
M2DZ 7822811 A $60.92

Total $3325

Doors were well packed upon arrival from a short semi. Box was huge and light. Very deceiving. Probably 50lbs total. Come in 2 layers of bubble wrap with another layer of foam around them. They now come with door seals which my early order did not. Sent a email to Anderson about it, had a answer in 20 minutes, they were in the mail the next day. I also called twice with questions, someone answered both times. Doors arrive white.

Dropped off at the local body shop for paint, hardware install, and fitment. Body shop said the fit and finish was excellent took them no time to hang and adjust.

Running with these doors on is like running with no doors. It still generates a in cab breeze around the chest area that is almost the same as no doors, just a little more tamed like a constant direction instead of the swirl. Best of both worlds, get my arm/knee rest and still get the open cab feeling.

Doors are about 17lbs each, can carry with 2 fingers. They are solid and seem like it will take some force to mess them up. Make a real nice thud sound when closing, kind of like the quality of yester years steel doors. Arm rest design/angle is on point. It is comfortable with no fatigue. Will be having them upholstered over the winter for that oem look.

Anderson seals come with red plastic push pins and 3 m tape pre installed. Fords come with white pins and 3m installed. The white push pins are a hair smaller than the red ones. They will not hold. Just a fyi.

The new added view is defiantly welcomed. Don’t look like it would help much, but man, it really opens it up. Great view for wheeling both sides.

I am extremely happy with this upgrade. If you can swing the $ this is a real nice addition to the bronco. So happy, I ordered one of there new type r carbon hoods too.

Now these say off road use only. I would not be posting a review without putting them through my daily tests. So we went to dream cruise with them. At 90 they generate less breeze than no doors and it seems to pillow around the kidney area. I drove home at 80 in a down pour on 696. I got minimal water in the cab. Thats door holes and no windows. It was actually a awesome ride home. When I say minimal I mean 5 small drops on the passenger side and no mist at all on the inside. Not sure if it was designed like that but with the shape it seems to grab the side air then push it back out the windows with the top on.

Doors are easy to open. Reach though the hole when on the outside and just reach back with your hand when inside.

I have zero issues recommending these. They killed it. Tried to cover them the best I could so you know what to expect. I know it’s a big purchase.

I'll be the lone voice to say that this looks ridiculous to me. But if you like it more power to you big baller.

Just to be clear, the reason why they say off-road use only is because these doors do nothing to improve crash safety, and in fact, could make it less safe. Not having been tested you never know.

And there is a reason why the NHTS tests for side impact or T-bone impacts. Because they happen, a lot.
That said, they do look cool.

I do have a plan in my head where I’m heading with this build. Just baby steps for now. It will all tie together in the end. They do fit the build I’m after.

I’m like most everyone else on here. Go to work everyday. Get to work on the bronco when I have free time. Save for parts. Got to pick and choose my next steps. I don’t have a team or company. Have to pay, mod, and install my own stuff. That’s the cool thing about the bronco. You may not like everyone of them but cool to see what’s available and what people are doing. Now you know they look ridiculous to you. So you won’t wonder if you’d like them or not.

Love em. My real question is, how did you paint the little Bronco in the center of the rim?
Air brush with some candy red. Covers the silver, leaves the black.

Thanks! Appreciate that, specially from the builds I know you guys do. Thanks again for the early hook up on these. Thats the only reason this thread exists.

I had purchased them off of eBay about 2-3 months ago.

Well, now I know where your money went.....lol.....
Fit and finish look great, I think they will grow on me, but just not convinced yet. They do look good on the red though, with the black (carbon) accent. They will definitely make you stick out.
any way to add the locking mechanism in the future???
and...... off subject..... where did you get the knobs for the stereo and climate control knobs??
got a link??

Wait til spring when the step through gets released. They’re making it happen.
