Thanks. This verifies what I came up with. Getting a Wikdtrak with the B&O system but heard about all the rattling problems with the B&O sub decided to make my own box. Going to put the amp and dsp in the we'll in the middle of the cargo area. Pretty much going try to keep everything concealed as much as possible. Did you have to use any load generating devices?
No load devices were needed. Sounds like a plan.Thanks. This verifies what I came up with. Morel's sound a little better. I've used Alpine since the early 80's and already have most of everything for the setup.Nice Setup! Do you think Morel Hybrids would sound much better than the Alpines or about the same? Thanks
I am happy with Alpine and have always had smooth sound, and for a fair price.Nice Setup! Do you think Morel Hybrids would sound much better than the Alpines or about the same? Thanks
The LOC provides a lot of flexibility. It allows precise source signal adjustments to minimize distortion, corrects for any bass roll off, allows connections to multiple amps and provides the ability to channel sum signals into a single full range signal if desired. Also if you desire different input source signal voltages to fine tune channel balance. What is the need for the sound control LC and the kicker key? Don't they do the same thing?
Obviously as the OP I don't have the B&O with a rattling sub. My setup has 0 rattles. 100% satisfied with this setup as written.Has anyone fixed the OEM rattling sub issue without replacing with a new sub?
You can always improve on factory sound, BUT if your happy stay with what you have and save the cash.I have a rare 2023 that got the sub before the delete..sound is not too shabby with my old ears. Any value in just upgraded replacement speakers? im Not looking for a huge change but maybe clarity. Apple Music sounds pretty good on these now.
