I am getting a non Sasquatch Outer Banks and want to put new wheels and tires on it. Anyone know where the current wheel sits in line with the stock flares? Based on pictures I have seen it looks like the wheel/tires might be about flush with the flares. The wheels I want to get say they will poke 1.73” out from the stock wheels. Wondering if this will equal about 1.25-1.50” of poke when all is said and done. Thoughts?

+30, I ran the new wheel specs through the offset calculator and it says the new wheels will protrude ~1.7” past where the stock wheels are.

Counting the rim is the same size as your stockers at +30, that sounds about right. Closer to 1.25”

My stock wheels were set inside the flares about an inch. I put stock badlands wheels and tires on and they are even with the flares no poke.

Interesting, I didn’t realize they were set inside quite that much on the stock setup. If that is the case the new wheels and tires I am thinking of getting will only protrude past the flares by about 0.7”

It kind of depends on where you’re measuring though.

The sidewall bulge is roughly flush with the flares on my OBX — I actually took a level and checked it this morning.

But the treads sit inward about an inch or so from there. So you could probably expect tread poke (which IMO is what matters) of 0.75” or so on your setup, if I had to guess.

Stock non Sasquatch wheels have a +55 offset. If wheel width and backspacing are the same a +30 offset will have 1 inch more poke.

I have an outer banks non-Sas. Swapped out my wheels and tires for 35” tires and some black rhino 17” wheels with a -18 offset. Clearly now it pokes outside of the fenders. But I have not measured it

What is the width of your new black rhino wheels? It looks like you have about 2” poke. Looks good

It’s the Arsenal 17x9.5. I just went out and measured it on the back wheel (so I know it’s not turned) and it shows actually 3.5-4 in total poke including the sidewall. We lifted our outer banks 4” so we wanted a much wider stance. This means that although we have no rubbing, there isn’t enough room for a mud flap (this may change in the coming weeks as I remove the tube steps for sliders). The problem is, I have not found flares that can match the super wide stance we have. But I can live with it, because it’s a much more stable option with the 4 inch lift.

I’m running a +30 on my OBX. Here’s what it looks like.

Stock OBX wheels are about 2in inset from center flare to tread. Flush from center flare to lettering.
