Not sure I would trust this fairlead mount on a heavy side pull....

I am thinking of doing something similar, but modifying the RC skidplate to fit the mod bumper, or have the fairlead 90° from the mount, trimming the factory skid plate, clearancing it, and rewelding it. Hopefully to get rid of the angle and offset from the winch.

That or fab up my own winch bumper altogether...

This guy has a two part video about his experience/process of installing it. You can go find part two I'd you'd like.

This is a modified install to work with the Modular bumper. The kit is made for the Standard bumper and only works for a 2.3. For It to work with a 2.7 you would have to move the trans cooler.

That’s a concern of mine too. He made a 3rd video where he addressed that.

Yeah there's a few threads where this was talked about. The big question now is waiting to see if someone can figure out how to move the heat exchanger on the 2.7.

If you have the standard bumper this is a great solution. It only requires you to cut off what someone referred to as frame alignment tabs that are left on as part of manufacturing.

This is my plan, but I have the heat exchanger.. or I guess I should say I WILL have this heat exchanger one of these years.
