The only way bronco orders will take years if if someone places a new MY22 order and chooses the MOD top or the Braptor.
I really think Ford is going to try and at least take care of any remaining bumped 21 orders before making a ton of brand spanking new orders
They should but do you trust Ford with all the broken promises?

This is absolute BS, we are Ford's base...... and to screw over reservation holders is completely unacceptable. My family has owned Fords all their lives because my grandfather worked at the Norfolk Assembly Plant manufacturing the F150. We never had anything else LTD, Granada, Maverick, Mustangs, Escort, F150, Bronco and the list goes on. I myself at the age of 50 own a 93 Bronco, 77 Bronco and was a morning after reservation holder that converted it in March only to find out the mic tops and 2 door models would be delayed. After hearing about if you wanted it faster order a 4 door soft top and my son convincing me that the four door would be more useful for our needs. I changed the order only to be told that my original reservation number would still be honored, 15 months later we are finding out that ford wants to stock dealer lots and not fill reservations. My patience is wearing thin even knowing that I really want this Bronco. I hope Ford reads this and does the right thing for their loyal customers. Until then I'll keep working on this guy....

A media outlet ā€œreaching out for commentā€ is great. Get a few more of these stories with people trying to get Ford in the record and just maybe something will change.
Yeah, maybe we'll get a story that presents both sides of an issue, rather than gloating over a one sided article. Wait, I thought gloating was against the rules on Bronco6g forum, since that was the reason given to me for getting banned from two threads. :ROFLMAO:

Hey, I hope Ford does respond and everyone gets their Bronco. I just don't like all the of the bad info and bad attitudes being presented. In another thread it was clearly shown that FROM the BEGINNING orders were going to get filled based on reservation dates subject to parts constraints and dealer allocations. Ford said that from the beginning before orders started to be placed. The dealership in question took a risk that they could somehow get around this. It didn't work.

Also, I keep reading comments about how wonderful and fair and honest this dealership is, (and I'm sure they are) compared to dealerships with ADM. How about all of the dealerships that are not doing ADM and are selling at MSRP or less, just not below invoice? Aren't those dealerships honest and fair?

1) The Vanguard Group Inc.
2) BlackRock Fund Advisors
3) SSgA funds management
4) Newport Trust Company
5) Geode Capital Management LLC

**Rant Alert** Proceed at your own risk.
Over the past year plus I have tried and then struggled to give Ford the benefit of the doubt but no more. To promise a reservation based distribution process and then gut it with the increasingly unfair allocation process is a betrayal to those with a reservation/order. To continue taking reservations while in a severely constrained production environment only drove the hysteria and provided them continual media attention. Ford is playing the big dealers against the small dealers, the order holders against all dealers, and the enthusiasts against the "ambassadors" all while trying to stay above the fray and remain untarnished. I love my Bronco and I like a lot of Ford's design but their excessive marketing manipulation of this roll out has turned me against their brand; and I don't feel like I am the only one in this boat.

I'm certainly not going to promote the dealership model as the best sales model (nor am I implying that Teslas methodology works, because it's farcical and horrendous for the end-user), but there's going to be problems with any dealership, of any size, in any part of the country, in any market, submitting X thousand orders for a single model of vehicle for the same model year.

They could be ordering Flex's and it would take years for Ford to deliver enough units to fulfill the orders.

It's a bit self-serving of the B6g community to think that any single dealership would take delivery of that many units given the orders and volume that Bronco generated in a single model year.
Totally, wrong. If it was based on reservation time and they were filled in that order, as they should be, then it would not matter. We are talking about a vehicle that was highly anticipated and a big deal was made out of reservations.

Ford is hurting dealers that are promoting their product better than others, doing business honestly, and communicating more effectively than Ford itself. This is obviously bad for customers, but it will ultimately be bad for Ford. Changing the formula for allocations with so many unfilled orders is disgraceful and there is no way it is going to significantly move the needle on Bronco sport sales. Brand loyalty is huge in the car industry and Ford apparently does not get it.

If they were going to handle it this way they should have published a live data model showing the stats for every dealer, so you could order from the one that gives you the shot at getting it the soonest.

The irony of all this is, that if Ford actually filled the reservations in order (commodity constraints not withstanding), this dealer would probably have moved way up in total sales volume.

I hope Ford getā€™s nationally roasted for this, not just within this small community.

By the way, why on earth would I Reserve a Lightning after this as they are apparently not committed to this reservation model.

I think you are missing the point. This was Supposed to be a reservation based rollout. Those were fulfilled first in the order received sans issues generated by parts shortages. The factory can turn out X units and it is substantially more than grangers orders. Ford has the potential to turn out 100k a year slightly under 10k a month. So your theory holds 0 water.

So where in that original FAQ does it state about dealership allocations? You must be talking about the revised FAQ?

In another thread it was quoted that the comment came in Sept 2020. That was before ordering was opened. So, any dealership knew that there was going to be an allocation formula that partly took into account previous sales history. You should be able to see the significance of that. The dealership knew. They chose a marketing strategy that substantially oversold what they could reasonably expect to get. It has backfired on them and many of their customers, yet because they are so "good" and "honest" they are defended blindly and it's all Ford's fault. Well, the dealership has some responsibility in this because they chose a strategy that had no chance of being fulfilled.

Yeah thatā€™ll learn em! ā€œHeres 50k but not a dime more you SOB ! ā€œ šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜
Im not trying to learn them anything, just stating there will be no repeat business from me, or good publicity. Id be hard pressed to remember all the vehicles Iā€™ve owned in my 35 years of driving. Iā€™ve owned cars from at least 8 different manufacturers and never in that time had any bad feelings toward any of them. Iā€™ve never excluded brands when itā€™s time to buy another. I will now, and Iā€™m a repeat customer. 9 vehicles in the last 13 years from the same dealership. ill buy another new vehicle in the next 6 months. I can guarantee what brand it wonā€™t be.

And no, Iā€™m not under any illusions that Ford cares. Just stating where my future money will not be going.

Youā€™re the same guy that said we shouldnā€™t blame Ford because no manufacturers can build vehicles right nowā€¦
In Rick's defense, he also presciently said that this whole Bronco reservation rollout was going to be a giant clusterf**k and he predicted all these angry posts. He's probably been enjoying a lot of popcorn over the last 12 months.
