They should but do you trust Ford with all the broken promises? The only way bronco orders will take years if if someone places a new MY22 order and chooses the MOD top or the Braptor.
I really think Ford is going to try and at least take care of any remaining bumped 21 orders before making a ton of brand spanking new orders
Yeah, maybe we'll get a story that presents both sides of an issue, rather than gloating over a one sided article. Wait, I thought gloating was against the rules on Bronco6g forum, since that was the reason given to me for getting banned from two threads.A media outlet āreaching out for commentā is great. Get a few more of these stories with people trying to get Ford in the record and just maybe something will change.
Done. Here's the link to TheDrive's Facebook post on this. It has only been shared 3 times. We need to pump those numbers up!
Totally, wrong. If it was based on reservation time and they were filled in that order, as they should be, then it would not matter. We are talking about a vehicle that was highly anticipated and a big deal was made out of reservations.I'm certainly not going to promote the dealership model as the best sales model (nor am I implying that Teslas methodology works, because it's farcical and horrendous for the end-user), but there's going to be problems with any dealership, of any size, in any part of the country, in any market, submitting X thousand orders for a single model of vehicle for the same model year.
They could be ordering Flex's and it would take years for Ford to deliver enough units to fulfill the orders.
It's a bit self-serving of the B6g community to think that any single dealership would take delivery of that many units given the orders and volume that Bronco generated in a single model year.
I think you are missing the point. This was Supposed to be a reservation based rollout. Those were fulfilled first in the order received sans issues generated by parts shortages. The factory can turn out X units and it is substantially more than grangers orders. Ford has the potential to turn out 100k a year slightly under 10k a month. So your theory holds 0 water.I'm certainly not going to promote the dealership model as the best sales model (nor am I implying that Teslas methodology works, because it's farcical and horrendous for the end-user), but there's going to be problems with any dealership, of any size, in any part of the country, in any market, submitting X thousand orders for a single model of vehicle for the same model year.

So where in that original FAQ does it state about dealership allocations? You must be talking about the revised FAQ?Yeah, maybe we'll get a story that presents both sides of an issue, rather than gloating over a one sided article. Wait, I thought gloating was against the rules on Bronco6g forum, since that was the reason given to me for getting banned from two threads.
Hey, I hope Ford does respond and everyone gets their Bronco. I just don't like all the of the bad info and bad attitudes being presented. In another thread it was clearly shown that FROM the BEGINNING orders were going to get filled based on reservation dates subject to parts constraints and dealer allocations. Ford said that from the beginning before orders started to be placed. The dealership in question took a risk that they could somehow get around this. It didn't work.
Also, I keep reading comments about how wonderful and fair and honest this dealership is, (and I'm sure they are) compared to dealerships with ADM. How about all of the dealerships that are not doing ADM and are selling at MSRP or less, just not below invoice? Aren't those dealerships honest and fair?
So where in that original FAQ does it state about dealership allocations? You must be talking about the revised FAQ?
In another thread it was quoted that the comment came in Sept 2020. That was before ordering was opened. So, any dealership knew that there was going to be an allocation formula that partly took into account previous sales history. You should be able to see the significance of that. The dealership knew. They chose a marketing strategy that substantially oversold what they could reasonably expect to get. It has backfired on them and many of their customers, yet because they are so "good" and "honest" they are defended blindly and it's all Ford's fault. Well, the dealership has some responsibility in this because they chose a strategy that had no chance of being fulfilled. So where in that original FAQ does it state about dealership allocations? You must be talking about the revised FAQ?
That was for goating, not gloating.Wait, I thought gloating was against the rules on Bronco6g forum, since that was the reason given to me for getting banned from two threads.
Im not trying to learn them anything, just stating there will be no repeat business from me, or good publicity. Id be hard pressed to remember all the vehicles Iāve owned in my 35 years of driving. Iāve owned cars from at least 8 different manufacturers and never in that time had any bad feelings toward any of them. Iāve never excluded brands when itās time to buy another. I will now, and Iām a repeat customer. 9 vehicles in the last 13 years from the same dealership. ill buy another new vehicle in the next 6 months. I can guarantee what brand it wonāt be.Yeah thatāll learn em! āHeres 50k but not a dime more you SOB ! ā
In Rick's defense, he also presciently said that this whole Bronco reservation rollout was going to be a giant clusterf**k and he predicted all these angry posts. He's probably been enjoying a lot of popcorn over the last 12 months.Youāre the same guy that said we shouldnāt blame Ford because no manufacturers can build vehicles right nowā¦
