satellite radio is unquestionably the worst audio source in common use today.

Youd be better off streaming xm from your phone if you care.

I dont subscribe to xm... I can get unlimited streaming for way less. XM made sense (maybe) back when wireless coverage was spotty and you couldnt rely on it for drives away from the city. But now youre hard pressed to find a road that doesnt have wireless coverage.

I thought the Harman Kardon in my TRX was far superior, until I've started using a different streaming source. Now I think they are comparable.

We have carplay in our VW Atlas and I noticed quality is better just playing through Bluetooth. So when I crank it up I take off CarPlay. That may be just in VW bug I would suggest anyone try all methods to play music.

I looked at a VW Atlas. I think that's a fantastic vehicle for the price they charge!!!

We love it. Fits the whole family but doesn’t drive like a tank.
I was impressed by the interior space in it. You could fit a football team in one.

Have you tried MP3s over Bluetooth off your phone? Not that it matters to me since I skipped Lux, but that's how I listen to 90% of my music.

I use Spotify and I’m happy with the service. I’m not a fan of SiriusXM.

Normally I'd agree. But the HK in my TRX did a much better job no matter the source.

I never buy music. Just the service. I always stream. I get what ever music I want and no commercials. I listen to a wide variety of music so I would spend too much trying to get mp3.

I didn't say that I did either. ;)

I have a very narrow taste in music and won't listen to much of anything modern so having my own playlist has been the safest bet for avoiding skips.

My initial impression of the B&O sound system was “Meh”. It did sound better than the stock system when I compared the two on my test drives, but I found it underwhelming. This was while listening to the Sirius XM channels that were already programmed into each vehicle at the dealership. I added Ford+Alexa this past week, and have been listening to my Amazon music using Alexa. The sound quality is Night and Day. The B&O is way better than I initially gave it credit for. Coming home last night on a 4 hour road trip, running 75mph, listening to My Gift by Carrie Underwood for some Christmas cheer, my wife and I were impressed with how clear and crisp the sound was in a ragtop cruising at Highway speeds. Sirius XM does not do this sound system justice. Merry Christmas All!!
Dependant on source....? Shocker. Lol
Ford Sync will recognize good USB HDD's.... I have a 2TB Western Digital plugged in and all my media is WMA Pro lossless 192KHz...
Even the 6 speaker base stereo isn't terrible.
