Serious question, why? I'll have a local shop do a much darker tint than a factory tint for less money.

Factory tint is always pretty light, because it would be too hard to give you a tint by state. I'll tell the local guys "darkest tint you legally can".
Just to have one less thing to immediately do when I get mines.. Iā€™ll already be getting new tires and wheels (at least $1,100) put on a day after delivery so not having to worry about changing or adding tint wouldā€™ve been nice. I actually have seen some Bases non Sas yesterday with a slight tint and Iā€™ll even be cool with that little bit of tint at least for a while, even 10% is better than no tint imo ! I already have a guy for it anyway so no complaints this way.

Factory is producing two versions. Ver. 1 - rear hatch glass only tinted and Ver. 2 - all clears.

Do you have some inside confirmation of these 2 versions or are you just basing that idea from what you see in these photos? Because neither of these MIC tops have tints.

I personally do not want tinted rear windows so I am hoping you are incorrect and all Base trims come without tints.

I'm in Phoenix. The sun is like a hammer. I'm serious about the "tint it as dark as legally allowed" .

I was all set for aftermarket tint on my front windows and hard top. Then I folded like a lawn chair and switched to soft top. So now all my windows will be in shambles until aftermarket tops become availableā€¦šŸ˜¬

Are the roof rails $7,800?
ā˜not to make @pfbz feel bad, but yeah...I don't have roof rails...I do have mod bumper, floor liners...everything else the same as pfbz's...

My dealer's msrp, including doc fee and d&d, is MUCH lower...

No x plan or other favors.

I'd dig in if a dealer is asking 38k for that build!

MSRP on a Base isn't that bad of a deal, it's only about $500 difference between MSRP and Invoice.
I'm just under $39k with Doc fee and tags. Pa sales tax will be another 6%. I'm in on the Chapman deal for Invoice- 3%.
2 door Base Squatch in AMB, V6 auto, roof rails and mod bumper.
I'll buy the floor liners with the rewards $$.
August res so don't expect delivery till Spring '22. Anxiously awaiting what the MY22 B&P brings. I'm pretty solid on my choice, but a 'Timberline' version of the Bronco could entice me... I'd be fine with 32 or 33's and a limited slip rear instead of the full on Squatch. Timberline interior is nice too.

Squatch and V6 is a whole different (bada$$) truck than mine or @pfbz (?)

Closer to 40k for that makes total sense
