Arrrrg. Never considered the Base until messing around with the other trims so haven't paid attention to that. Why no trailer hitch for the Base?
To make the hapless buy a BB.

Seriously, there is a lot of money to be made in giving the helpless a perfect solution.
Ford needs to maximize profits on these people to keep a wrenchable (word???) Bronco for the rest of us.

Throw on red paint for $295 and probably the best value as far as resale. Nice.

Be sure to check their math if you're adding the sasquatch package. My options total is $795 higher than the list of options added together. The trailer "hitch" is no big deal... it's an 8" long piece of metal with 4 bolts. Wiring is fairly straightforward too but it is annoying they don't offer it on the base since it probably has the best towing wheels/tires.

my 2 options!

2.7L few small options- 32,335
Tires and Wheels (17s and 33s)- 2300
Lift- $700
= $35,335 (best case)

2.3L Squatch
= $36,250

So much is in the squatch besides wheels and tires.......better suspension, 4.7 gears, bigger fenders, etc

I really want the 2.7l but hard to justify not getting a 2.3L and having everything done for me plus some. Plus id still have room in my budget for new bumpers (when they come out) and eventually the wheels/rim of my choice.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk,

Anyone else in the same boat?

The people getting screwed are the ones who wanted the manual base 4dr, like me haha
I hope it's a mistake, since they did confirm auto was NOT standard and even removed the picture with the(7sp on 2 door)

Rapid Red is only good if you are a mall crawler.
Tri-coat Paints are * insanely* expensive to fix desert pinstriping, or other damage.

TL;DR , Tri-Coat paints Rapid Red and Cyber Orange are great if you don't offroad and plan to sell/lease return.
Not so much once they get badly scratched or damaged IRL.

Welp, now I'm totally confused.

Stuck between the following:
2DR Base Mansquatch (and basically wait forever for it to show up),
2DR Base Autosquatch (and then probably kick up to the V6 because uhhh not much difference lol)
2DR Manual Black Diamond.

With accessories Option1+3 are basically tied for $38K~, and Option 2 wouldn't be much more expensive...

Goddammit Ford lol

I looked it up and thought all paints are tri-coats ( Base + Color + Clear).....What would Velocity Blue be?

That's what I'm looking at now, but pay more just to get the manual? I feel like I'll get more car if I get the 2.7 base
