Still surprised the rubber floor and drain plugs aren't standard...
YEP-They could pitch it as best way to go as a base option and upsell from there. They definitely missed the boat.

I am actually incredibly let down that Cyber Orange is not available on base models. I shouldn't be surprised because Ford likes to bull this b.s with everything they launch, you can't get X without the Y & Z package, you can only have A if B is equipped.. everything ends up totaling out to the price of one of the mid-trims once everything is all said and done. I get it that they want to make more money and limit the amount of SKUs / variants to simplify things, but it's a bummer. I don't wanna have to get the Sasquatch package to choose Cyber Orange because I don't need it.

That being said, I am getting a base model, because it has everything my Explorer doesn't, and if I do want something I'll go aftermarket. Two-door, 2.3L / 7-speed, likely in Rapid Red or Antimatter Blue.

if so, my 1st colo choice is actually cactus grey
Wait according to the exterior color chart, Cactus Grey isn't optionable on a Base Bronco....

These bean counters are very very sharp...I am getting 2 dr base....my want was race red to match my F150 RCSB....but nope ...not avaliable on base.....BUT.....rapid red can be had....and that color is a $700 upcharge on the 150....go figure....so if I have to have race red....$5k more next model....will keep my $5k and maybe just settle for OJ white.....

**** velocity blue i guess... or go up to black diamond. then you get drain holes, marine grade seats, and still a pretty good deal

Both of my JP's have(had) drain holes. I am hoping there is some sort of drainage or I may have to get handy with a hole saw and the proper sized plugs.

No need to rip them off I believe they are easily removed like the doors Edmunds utube I saw him say about.

All this squatchy talk ......... I noticed it says high clearance suspension ???????? What is this ????

Ford needs to be a little clearer on this, maybe pics of the different suspension. Not just say high clearance. What is different from the suspension on a non squatch.

I'm leaning towards a base 2dr and 7sp manual. I've never owned a 4x4 before. Any idea how capable/incapable the base will be (obviously no hardcore offroad) without Sasquatch package?

Carpet should only be paired with the leather. Everything else should be rubber or vinyl floors. I hope carpet delete is an option for the base.
