It has the rear wiper, but I haven't seen rear defrost on any of the models or packages.

It's possible it's a glitch in B&P that's omitting rear defrost, but it's also possible that it's not an option/available.

Someone who's seen some of the pre-production franken-Broncos in upper trim levels would probably know.
FWIW, the bronco build and price reference guide that bronco nation released says that the base has a rear window defroster. It's under the exterior section for the MIC hard top.

I was just going off of memory from the B&P, so that would be why I didn't see it listed.
I rarely check out anything from Bronco Nation, unless it's something not seen/ posted in this forum.

Just curious if you guys think it will be hard to switch out the grille? I don't hate but I really love the badlands grille. Though with the lights and such it may be a difficult switch.

Can’t imagine it taking more than 30 minutes. There’s a cobbled together Oxford white bronco with base model lights and a BL grille on here somewhere. So BL grille works with base lights even though it doesn’t look like it at first.

I would hope all grilles are interchangeable. Coming from the Tacoma world, all of them are and a lot of people switch them out for a different models version. It is super easy and I imagine the aftermarket will be booming with different options as well..

Hey bub if you’re gonna bump at least add something of substance. I’ll do that for ya

“Imagine paying more for a bronco that you don’t get to customize exactly to your preferences” CHUMPS!

base ftw!

except for my dad because he never customizes anything, and I talked him into the black diamond for the MGV seats. But secretly it’s so he gets the locker and other off road kit so I can take him off roading

Well geez ok then.

Here's something. I once bought a new 2005 Ram 1500 4 door with hemi for 21k. It was a great truck. Owned it for 7 years, sold it for 12k. The price of vehicles are getting crazy. My 2 door base build is at 38k. Paid 58k for my 2019 AT4 which was a deal.

That being said, I think I could own this bronco for 5 years and sell it for 30k+ all day, probably 35k.

My biggest dilemma is which resevation to use...

1.) I have a July 21 reservation, and would love to be one of the special people with MY2021, but if I get the Bronco before my mortgage is paid off I can only afford base with no sasquatch (and Mansquatch is late delivery anyway). If Ford would just let me add the rear locker to a Base, I'd be doing that without a second thought.

2.) I have an Oct. 1 reservation for the killer October special deal with @Granger Ford which I could use for a Base Mansquatch or Black Diamond. I'd have a bigger budget and either of those fits what I need, but it would be a long, long time before I get my Bronco.

My only non-negotiables are manual transmission and a rear locker. But Ford is making it difficult to get both without having to and $6k to $8k onto the price for a lousy rear locker that they offer separately on the Ranger.

I can sympathize with this. I am currently driving a 2001 F150 Lariat that I got with 12K miles on it. I got it for 24,500. Still runs ok, but I have to close the door gently if I don't want to leave rust everywhere I park.

I am looking forward to a new basesquach Bronco. Even the base will have so much more tech and comfort than I have now. I also like that the base will have a simple interior compared to many of the higher trims.

As much as I want to go pick up my Bronco today, I'm fine with the wait for BaseManSquatch. I'm still working on repairing my credit after some bad decisions from around 15 years ago. I have a June 18th reservation, but I actually think having to wait until late '22 may help me save up and pay cash for at least half of the thing. The biggest source of stress on this whole deal has been how to pay for the thing, lol. I make plenty of money, but don't have much experience financing stuff and the thought of a monthly payment for a car is kinda alien and scary to me.
