It's going to be even nicer hitting the trails this fall in my new Bronco.
I hope you get it in time to hit them this summer!

I’m waiting till the madness dies and will make do with my current off-road ride.?

What? Are you reservation number 1 or something, so laid back and relaxed?

Just kidding, yea one can go crazy reading every post out here for the last 2 days, especially the ones regarding allocation.

My Granger reservation is on 7/23. So I may get pushed way out. Ok I guess, more time to save. On the other hand I would be very excited to to get it in 2021, honestly can't wait, but what can you do.
I cancelled and will wait till they are hitting the streets to see what I really want in options, and may wait for a warthog or replace the raptor with a gen 3 raptor....ot pick up a used one next year because someone ‘doesn’t like it’. Lol

Since I am an attorney and you're clearly not, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I did in fact read the reservation agreement and saved a copy at the time of reservation, but I suspect you did not. They've already changed the agreement online several times since I made my day one reservation and if what is in this thread is true they'd be in breach of the contract. Now if you'd like to make further defamatory comments please sign your actual name to your comment.
No, I'm not an attorney but work closely with our legal group when we negotiate h/w and s/w purchases from our suppliers. Contract review is part of that and I can assure you that software vendors can be very slippery when it comes to crafting their T's & C's so close and careful review is essential - especially since these tend to be multi-year deals with 10's of millions of dollars in potential expense commitments on a single contract.

For that reason I absolutely read my agreement prior to completing the reservation and also saved it.

Please point to where I made a derogatory comment about you.

You didn't read my post. Dealers don't have any say in who gets to order and when. The dealer will get a matching list of reservations to use for the allocation. 137 Allocations, 137 reservations to fulfil. A reservation cancels? One less allocation for that dealership.

Any dealership who says different is lying to get you to pay more and order faster.

Why would you bother with reservations if you were not going to honor them?
The dealers already have the full reservation list for their dealership. If they have x allocations, then they use the list to fill those allocations. Honorable dealers will go down the list and mark them off as they decline until they fill their allotment. Its actually pretty straight forward. Cancelling a reservation does not reduce allocation.
This is so wrong and will cause people to lose hope before Ford gives the timing estimates in May.

The dealer will convert as many reservations as possible, regardless of allocations. Why?
- The more converted reservations, the more allocations the dealer may receive when the actual allocation adjustment is made in May
- The dealer has NO IDEA which builds can be manufactured due to commodity constraints. If a dealer submits the exact number of orders equal to the allocation estimate they have now, the dealer could end up with allocations unfilled if the parts are unavailable for a MY21 build.

Try adding that stuff to a squatched Badlands in B&P. It won't let you. Issues to be addressed in MY 22.
I know you can't for the 4 door but is that true for the 2 door (been a while since I config'd one). Back when my jaw was dropping that PPF wasn't allowed on a 4 door V6 Badlands (along with the roof racks, bull bar, etc.) it seemed like it was allowed on a 2 door. Granted I wasn't specifically selecting Sasquatch, just BL, but it might be allowed. Given how so much of that stuff appears to be late availability it's kind of moot right now, though.

I don't understand the delay on Badlands, 2.7 lux sasquatch. They are popping them out in preproduction units. I assume it may cause a delay but some people will get them and I hope one is mine haha.

I’m a Day 1 reservation holder and at this point, it is crystal clear that the only advantage to buying the MY21 are the bragging rights that come with having this vehicle before your neighbor.

Beyond that, the MY22 will deliver, from the factory, a better experience in every conceivable way. Are bragging rights worth ordering a base on 33’s with very limited options? For those whose plan it was to go that route from the beginning, sure. My guess is these people can also turn a wrench a lot better than I can and will create their Bronco in the aftermarket.

I’m excited for the car too but not that excited.

Looks like all this thread is missing is executives and members of congress...

I’m a 7/17 reservation I don’t think I have a shot
Yes you do. What you order plays a bigger role than when your timestamp is. The timestamp is honored WHEN the commodity is available.

I must have missed these. Do you have a reference?
They're talking about the GVWR limiting certain options on certain builds and Ford's comments that they're working to correct for MY22.

How we can still change or reservation to different dealers with all this going on is impossible for Ford to keep up with ...
