Looks like quality construction.. from the pics at least. Unfortunately it looks to follow the exact same lines that the Ford OEM has. Almost looks like a wrapped oem top. The oem top is just fugly unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong. And under $10k? Delivered? I thought the ADV was expensive! As with all of this stuff I'll hold judgment until it is released. Promising though.

If this is real carbon fiber I cant imagine anyone has come close to actually guessing the price. I would guess its in the $20k range. That is a lot of CF

The OP said it will come with new Ford OEM weatherstripping. I can think of a lot better ideas than that. How many threads are there on here about having to add all kinds of new weatherstripping, including pool noodles, to fix the OEM lack of weatherstripping? I think you should be designing your own weatherstripping and not relying on Ford.

They are working on a top for the 2 Dr but it won't be ready until sometime in 2023.
They are going to offer all their tops in grey primer or already painted black or white.

I reached out to them, after Ford had said no modular tops, outside of Heritage models, for 2023, and that's the reply they gave me.

Cool if painted, if so, why go to the expense of CF?

They will have CF and a regular composite.

if it comes pre-painted gloss black that’s a huge win for lots of us (I’m not in the baller status to get CF lol)

I'd venture to guess that the CF top will come not long after the regular non-CF for the 2Dr.

I've mentioned in other threads that I've been kicking around the idea of swapping to the Heritage, but my gut is telling me that the number of people opting to switch to it, for one reason or another, is going to be higher than Ford is accounting for.

If that happens at Granger, where I got bumped into the 270's in line, and I did opt to go Heritage and demand is greater than Ford accounted for.
I would be cementing myself into the 'not-built-again-in-2023' club.

So I reached out to them, since AFC basically stated they weren't going to do one for the 2Dr unless 'enough interest' was expressed (polite round-about way of saying 'no'), and asked.

Now, I can figure out what build to re-submit for '23 knowing that an alternative top choice for 2Dr Broncos is coming.

I'm hoping the 4Dr version is at SEMA so we can get a general idea of what to expect.

I would consider just buying the rear cap....now that there is a potential 2-row skyrider on it's way...I hope they offer that option.
