Yeah I find it interesting Jeep used 4 doors and utilized wheels / tires headlights / windows like the Bronco Sport as well.

First impressions: Much like people like to say whether you agree or disagree that Jeep had a baby with a FJ Cruiser called "Bronco". In my opinion Jeep had a baby with a Land Rover Defender and its called the "Recon".

I actually think it looks better in real life pictures vs concept they put out there which doesn't happen very often. Those 33-inch tires though look puny on that vehicle. Much like the Bronco, I think it needs 35's to look right. The grill looks like the Hummer EV.

If they can get this to 350 mile range with 800 volt architecture for sub 20 min charge time for road trips. With most of the capabilities of a Wrangler. Jeep will have a winner.

Ground clearance looks... awful? Or is that just the camera angle?

Approach/departure looks solid… breakover and general ground clearance not so much. But I guess the battery has to go somewhere.

Feels like Stellantis is aiming this at the “weekend adventurer” type of person rather than the off-roaders. Same marker as many Subarus, Bronco Sport, etc.

Which makes sense, honesty.
Plus in reality, plenty of Broncos including Sas equipped, aren't going anywhere that Jeep Recon can't go. I bet for many people Sas is just for appearance. You could probably secretly strip out the lockers, skid plates, maybe even 4-low, and the owners would be none the wiser.
