the advanced 4wd includes a 4A mode with clutch that doesn't require a manual decision to switch from 4H to 2A. the part time version is either on or off

I'm not buying that. Paint protection film wouldn't add significant weight so as to not be available with certain options. Sounds bogus.

Oh I’m totally with you on things like the 2.7 taking away the Paint protection film seeming bogus. However we’ve known since reveal day that you can’t get roof rails on a 4dr Sasquatch. (The pic below is straight from Ford) Maybe adding a roof rack to a 4 door Squatch and adding the 450lbs of gear would take it over the allowed GVWR.

The wording used in the FAQ made it seem like you would be able to get a roof rack “aftermarket” they just couldn’t sell it that way from the factory.
